Heed my words. My old Logitech G230 from 2018 sounds much better than this headset. PROBLEMS WITH ELO X STEREO HEADSET - The highs and mids of the Elo X Stereo lack clarity. The word muffled is a perfect description of this headset. Even when using an equalizer to try and fix things, it's not enough. - Too much bass which causes rattling, even if adjusted with an equalizer. I can prove the bass rattling issue right now. Put the Elo X Stereo headset , then listen to this on Youtube: Boards of Canada - Gyroscope - That will clearly demonstrate the rattling issue from the bass. If there's any review that you should heed before buying this product, it's mine. I tested the hell out of this headset with a wide variety of equalizer settings, and many different styles of music. Most people don't know true sound clarity at a budget price, they just don't know any better, but I do. This headset isn't it, unless you have very low standards. I'm an older guy, so I've gone through tons of budget headsets, and this one lacks clarity, is muffled even when playing with the equalizer, but the biggest deal breaker is the bass rattling, which I easily proved by simply playing the above song I mentioned.

However, the rattling and lack of clarity you describe isn't something we'd usually associate with the headset or expect, instead it sounds as if your particular unit may simply be a black sheep that does not work properly. Given the analog nature of the headset, there is little troubleshooting we can suggest, which is why we recommend exchanging the device. If you can not do so by contacting your vendor any longer, please feel free to reach out to ROCCAT support through our official website as we may still be able to provide you with a solution.

Roccat Software Required and its buggy.

Roccat software is buggy and has alot of posts about it on various websites. Sent request to roccat customer service and recieved a response about my request remaining in a queue, nothing since. I had to go out and buy another headset. Very Dissapointed.

There's a volume toggle on the ear Cuff as well as a mute button but I wish they had a toggle for those on the microphone cord so I didn't have to reach so far during a game that can't be paused Unfortunately the mic can only be used on the left side. It's very comfortable and each ear swivels. It doesn't cancel outside noise but it does well enough to muffle so you can give full attention to the sounds but also hear if someone is trying to talk to you
