This is not my first Roccat gaming mouse. That said, this Kone Pro Wired Ultralight Optical Gaming Mouse is very similar to the other one I own. But there are a few subtle differences, and truth be told, I prefer my other Roccat mouse better. Right off the bat, you’ll need to download and install the Swarm software onto your PC. The program is easy to navigate and allows you to customize the mouse for your specific gaming needs. The Swarm Software lets you: Adjust the scroll wheel, button click, and cursor pointer speeds. Set illumination, speed of light effects, and brightness. Assign key controls to the 8 mouse ‘buttons’. This Roccat Kone Pro gaming mouse is lightweight, yet maneuverable and precise. The slightly textured side panels of the mouse, provide a nice grip. This mouse just ‘glides’ across my mousepad (additional replacement glider pads are included). The scroll wheel rolls really smoothly and is relatively quiet, too. Something I always like to see with any of my computer accessories, is that “little extra” when it comes to quality. This Roccat mouse has a braided woven cord, which is so soft and pliable, yet feels sturdy at the same time. There’s also a rubberized ‘cord minder’ attached, which is nice. Only the front tips of the left and right mouse buttons are honey-combed and light up, which is by no means a “downside.” For an entry-level gaming mouse, this Roccat Kone Pro is fairly decent. The price is right, and worth considering among other options.

Roccat’s newest gaming mouse named Kone, is a wired gaming mouse that is very lightweight and very well-built. By downloading Roccat’s software, you’re able to customize your gaming mouse with everything from color lights, to the scrolling speed, to mapping of each individual buttons, everything is pretty easy and perfectly laid out. Or you can just plug it in and start using it right away if you prefer something a little more simple. My time spent with this gaming mouse was good, it is very precise for something as simple as surfing the web or something more complicated such as Gaming. With 19k DPI, this thing can move very fast. I really like the simple more traditional design, while still having a lot of features to play around with.

Wow, this mouse. Roccat continues to impress me as they come out with more and more quality products. It's Ultralight meaning its weight is ultra light, and it really is! I do prefer weighted mice for gaming, but somehow this still works well! It's also ultra light in the sense of the cool lighting that the mouse trigger clicks have too. It's a really comfortable mouse that's aesthetically pleasing, and the responsiveness on my 165 Hz monitor is super amazing.

The Roccat Kone Pro wired mouse is an excellent choice for gamers looking for a lightweight, precise mouse. Out of the box I was very surprised with just how light it was: some gaming mice feel like bricks in comparison. However, despite the lightweight build, it feels well made and still solid. The buttons and wheel all feel high quality and fast. I was a bit surprised about the driverless setup system. It's definitely not intuitive, and I needed to keep the manual handy in order to use it--there's little way I'd remember all the controls. However, the Roccat Swarm software is much easier to use and gives control over the same settings (plus some), so it's nice I guess to have the choice. Performance was excellent when dialed--I did find I had to adjust things between different game, but that's precisely what this sort of mouse is built for. I play both FPS and a lot of click heavy classic RTS games, and this felt good with both. This will be my default wired mouse going forward for gaming. Overall, I think gamers of any genre will find this a good choice, so long as you like the lightweight feel. Some may not, so try it out. But I suspect most will like this--I certainly did.

Used on Mac and works wonderfully. the scroll wheel is excellent, offering great feedback and setup is easy within MacOS. While the mouse feet did not wear out during my time with it, they did throw in an extra pair! I wished USB-C was a standard for the mouse but overall is wonderful!

I've clocked in thousands of hours playing FPS's and MMORPG's. I've also spent hundreds of dollars on gear knowing I'll get my moneys worth. Enter this badboy which I dubbed the sleeper. Why the sleeper? Because people sleep on things that aren't flashy or expensive. The mouse is easy to use and the software is intuitive. I got the Roccat keyboard with the volume knob and having both items in one GUI is really clean. It minimizes the background usage strain that having multiple user input devices and their perspective programs requires.+ The mouse is smooth, it was easy transitioning from my other much more expensive gaming mouse. it's really lightweight, and that concerned me at first, but that didn't affect my gameplay if anything at all. Huge bonus All in all its cheap, you get more value for your dollar and I enjoy and compare this company to some of the other bigger and more well known brands. This is a case in which you do not get what you pay for but the consumer ends up being the winner. Epic buy

Nothing beats a gaming mouse that doubles as a really good mouse. Of course I love the colors coming out of the matching keyboard. Gives the desk a little something extra. Easy to set up easy to use. My kinda mouse.

This is a great gaming mouse. I mostly only play Fortnite competitively, but this mouse feels great, and will definitely up my game!

I liked the feature set (controllable DPI, acceleration, and poll rate), per-game macros and other customizations (though the macro game list is pretty anemic and out-of-date). The color selection was interesting and fun, but left me wanting more. My big complaint was that it is higher, longer, and wider than I'm used to and using it for long periods made my hand ache. It just wasn't comfortable in my hand.

Excellent mouse. Great for drag clicking but not as good as the KAIN mouse for butterfly clicking.

I really liked the precision of this mouse, but I couldn't stand how it would freeze for several seconds when lifted up (to be repositioned) and placed back down. Not sure if the cord was messed up or something, but it was doing this on day one. Within a month I just had to go out and buy a wireless one from a different company and it's such a relief to not have this one anymore.
