Old American Rock & Roll with a Mexican Twist

This goes back decades when Mexican singers would improvise new lyrics to old Rock & Roll tunes like Poison Ivy, Wooly Bully, Gimme Little Sign, Hang On Sloopy and more. They would play them on the Tijuana stations which we could hear in San Diego. Los Straightjackets, an odd group themselves, brought back the old singers, like Big Sandy and Little Willie, and recorded those old songs again. It's a lot of fun and you can't help but to wiggle your behind a bit as you listen.
