Wow! Absolute garbage. I made sure to read all the product requirements before I purchased. I have my computer hooked to two different monitors. If I close a tab on the computer (mirrored to the two screens), it blanks to the pixelated rainbow! (picture attached). Then I have to reset it by unplugging and re-plugging the unit or HDMI cables. Even when It's working, It still blacks-out for 2-3 seconds every 15 minutes or so. Useless. Don't waste your money.

The item would have been sufficient for a lesser task but for my needs i returned and purchased the 8k version. Both products are well built, have a minimal footprint and function well

This is a tough product to fairly review. If you read the reviews many people say it is excellent and others say it is terrible. I'd say based on my experience both the good and bad reviews seem perfectly reasonable. I have used this for several years to take a signal from a laptop and present that on two different HDTVs. For that application it works perfectly. Just this week I tried to use it for another specialized application and it did not work. I wanted my laptop to project on an HDTV and the other signal to go into an external video recorder to capture what was on my laptop. I have been unable to make this new use case work. So, this will work flawlessly for some uses and not at all for others.

Product quality is good, easy to hook up and works well. Put in our motorhome when we upgraded the surround sound system to send the signal from our DirectTV box to both the front TV directly and to the AV box in the motorhome which required another device to convert the HDMI signal back to coax. This splitter works well and the signal quality through it to all devices is good. Product is expensive though.

The HDMI splitter worked well. It is simple to use, plug and play, and provided excellent picture to two 60" smart tv's.

We needed to connect two HDMI displays to our presentation laptop. This little guy does that job well and without any problems or hassels. It just works as it should.

I was hesitant to split the HDMI signal from my cable box to two TV's .....actually wasn't sure it was a possibility until I found this product. After installing the 2nd TV I installed the splitter then ran a 25' HDMI cable to it, plugged in the other TV, turned them on one at a time....both pictures are flawless! Plus, I don't have to pay for a 2nd receiver from the cable company which saves me 12.95 a month...well worth it

I wanted to operate two devices from a single source and this ended up being the best option at the price point. The alternatives I researched were significantly more expensive. The rocket fish 2 - output hdmi splitter does what you’d expect. It takes an HDMI input signal from a source and pushes it to two displays. I bought so I could put a monitor directly in front of a treadmill that was positioned in a way that made it difficult for users to view the bigger tv. I ran into problems when the output signal from my Pioneer receiver was split but i suspect this is product-specific. I had no problems when the splitter was connected directly to the Uverse box. With this product, my two screens can be displayed independently or at the same time. All in all, a good value for the price.

Bought this used from Best Buy. Honestly, you can never go wrong buying used from you guys. The care and attention to the product was like it was brand new. The Switch worked perfectly for my monitor and drawing tablet being connected at the same time. Really happy with my purchase! A++

Works great. I have 2 4k Smart TV's and I wanted my cable's HDMI to go to both TV's since I use both TV's for gaming and watching Cable on I play games on one and watch TV on the other at the same time. This solved that issue. I would of liked it to have been a little cheaper though.

This allows for one input to be displayed on two output displays with hdmi connections. It works as expected and is nice for keeping a device in one room, but viewing it in another by use of a long hdmi cable. I think it's a little pricey, but it works well and is what I wanted from it.

We tried a splitter from Amazon for a much cheaper price but kept returning it. Finally said forget it, I'll get something good from Best Buy and it's such an easy plug and play. Kids are happy. It's expensive but I guess you get what you pay for.

I bought some crappy HDMI splitters from China a few times and they all tend to break within a year. This one already is better quality and works better. Also the ones from China seem to burn out or wreck the heads on the hdmi cords. This one has not yet and works great. I bought it to split signal on 2 TVs in the basement for football games and fight nights.

This device worked perfectly. I tried cheaper options available from Amazon. They did not work. I have a 25 ft hdmi cable coming from a pioneer receiver to an epson projector. I wanted to add a second display (playing same content) to my bar area. I added this splitter at the projector. One signal went to projector through a 1.5 ft hdmi cable. The second signal traveled through a 20 ft hdmi cable to Samsung TV. Both pictures looked great. Recommend this to anyone with a similar need.

I'm providing a review (even though it was returned) as I believe the product will meet the needs of some, just not for my particular setup. The splitter was of very good quality, it would be simple to setup, however I needed it to meet a particular Oculus Rift setup and it just didn't meet those needs. If you are looking for a simple 4K / HDR splitter, this device is probably a good solution.
