Does not work for computers
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased the HDMI splitter so I could show computer based presentations on different monitors. This product will not do that, the computer does not recognize the monitors correctly and just cycles like you are continuously connecting and unconnecting a monitor.

HDMI cable.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This did not work well, it was unable to hold a signal from one TV to another. Also it is messy. I would not recommend that anyone get this, as it was not effective way of watching TVs multiples.

Great product, easy to install
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We recently set up our bedroom with two HDTVs, one mounted on each side of an island in the middle of the room. (There's an exercise area on one side, sleeping quarters on the other.) We wanted to be able to run both TVs off one cable box. The cable company couldn't provide a splitter but directed us to "Best Buy or another retailer." We went to Best Buy. I wasn't sure what I was getting into, but the Rocketfish splitter did the trick. It was easy to install and came with all the cabling needed to get the job done. It takes three HDMI cables - one from the box to the splitter, and one for each TV. At $150, it seems a little pricey to me, but what isn't these days? I've had it for more than a month, and I take it for granted now. All in all, it works well, and I recommend it.

Works as expected
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The TV in my den and the TV in my kitchen are on the same wall, just different sides. I was very apprehensive about purchasing this HDMI splitter due to all of the negative comments. I went ahead and decided that I would buy it, try it, and if it fails, return it. I plugged it into the outlet, then plugged in the HDMI cable from my cable (which was on). I then plugged my 42" Sony 1080P television into the #1 output slot. The TV came on as normal in about 2 to 3 seconds. I then plugged in my 22" Samsung 1080P into the #2 slot and it too came on after just a few seconds. Both sets have the same picture and sound as always. I can turn either TV on and off independently regardless. It doesn't matter if the other set is on or off. I don't have to have both sets on at the same time in order to have full service. I can walk into my kitchen and turn on the 22" set by itself as long as the cable box is on in the den or I can turn on just the 42" set in the den independently. I can turn the sets on and off without any effect on the other. The only reason that anyone would know they are on the same box is that if both sets are on at the same time, which they rarely are, they are on the same channel. When I turn on either set, the other set turns black for about 2 seconds just as it does when you change a channel with digital cable. I couldn't be more pleased with this purchase. Note: the instructions clearly state that if you are running two different resolution sets such as a 720P and a 1080P, you must plug the lower resolution set into the output #1. The splitter will then downgrade the service from 1080P to 720P which will effect your 1080P set. This is necessary as the 720P set is unable to process the 1080 signal. Failure to follow this order will result in problems.

Gets the job done
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Had to buy this for work and Best Buy was the only place that a HDMI splitter in stock. Had I the luxury of more that a few hours of time, I would have ordered online. Pros: Simple to use and setup, does what it is supposed to do. Cons: $100 is excessive something that looks and feels so unimpressive. You can find much better alternatives for better prices.. The plug for the AC adapter that goes into the box itself is very thin and the hole is very small. One knock would probably bend it or too many unplugging/repluggings would probably make it loose and you'd have to tape it or glue it in place. Other: Does not come with HDMI cables.Only thing that I can say about that is to shop around.

Great option for splitting any HDMI feed
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After purchasing my receiver, I decided I wanted to get an HDMI splitter without waiting for one from an online retailer. Although this one is about 50% more then the competition, I had no issues with setup, and even using 2 outputs at once (although I do not do this normally).

It just works
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It works pretty well, just plug & use. It even supports some computer resolutions in additional to 720p and 1080p. It does require power supply. Chipset is made by EPMI. Price is a little high, but is conveniently available at local best buy.

Great for Slipting a signal to your TV and Amp
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got a new entertainment system installed at my Photo Studio and it was all placed behind a wall by the Geek Squad so it is out of sight. I got an Apple TV so I could show my clients photo slide shows. The problem is that the music for the sideshows start over every time you start a new one or stop and start it again which is really annoying. My amp could could only play Music threw my it or only the apple tv threw the amp but not both at the same time. What I needed was a way to play music threw the speakers and picture threw from the apple TV on the TV. This was the answer. It split the signal to both the tv and amp so now I can listen to music and watch images but when I want to watch a movie it can go threw the amp to hear the sound.
