Switching over from component cables to hdmi was going to be a headache until I found this product at Best Buy. Now, converting the 16 tvs in our bar over to hdmi was a piece of cake! Easy as 1-2-3 to set up...after running all the cables, of course. Thank you Best Buy for another remarkable product!

Cannot View Simultaneously

I hooked this up going from a cable box to a 32" LCD and a 58" plasma. The build quality is good and it works splitting the signal to both televisions without pixelation or video noise. However, it does not allow me to view both TVs at the same time. I used Rocketfish HDMI cables (it doesn't make a difference if you use Monster). For my purposes this is okay because I won't be watching both TVs simultaneously. I gave it 4 stars for price because a similar unit on a popular online retailer was almost twice as much. I originally tried a non-powered unit from another company which was only $15, but it didn't even work at all... so it was $15 wasted. I've read elsewhere that the performance may also depend on the size of TVs you are sending the signal to. If you consider $99 too expensive, shop around and you will see that for a "POWERED" HDMI splitter it's actually inexpensive. (Note: There is a blue LED light on the front of the splitter that cannot be turned off).

I got this as an open-box deal. So far, so good. It is a simple, but important device. It does exactly what it is designed for. It takes one (1) HDMI signal, and amplifies it to two (2) signals. I'm very pleased with the results.

My satellite receiver only has one HDMI output. If I go through my audo receiver, then the audio receiver has to be on all the time and it's one more thing for my wife to have to fiddle with. So I got this splitter and go directly to the TV, and to the receiver for sound. Now my wife can watch the TV as usual, or I can add the Receiver sound for full 5.1 or TRUE HD audio.
The splitter does send all audio formats to my receiver with no problem, I am using generic HDMI cables, not any of the expensive brand name ones.

Bought this to use in a youth building with two 55" LCDs and works great. I have a 4 channel selector hooked up too so I can easily have the same movie/game/computer showing on both screens with no problem, no lag either. Also have the audio connected to a P.A. system. Splitter works great.

I have two HMDI cables at my Comcast SA8300HD box. One goes direct to my Panasonic Plasma and the other to my Yamaha RXV1800 surround receiver. I would typically switch the cables depending on if I wanted full surround sound or just TV sound. I was getting tired of swapping the cables, so I bought this splitter. Now both HDMI cables are active. One reviewer below indicated that this will not work with a Comcast box. Mine works fine with the SA8300HD.

It is extremely easy to use and set up. I have two of these that are hooked up to multiple devices and three different TV's. I have not experienced any picture loss from running all the HDMI's cables through these splitters.

Used this one to split between my TV and projector. IT works just fine even in front of another HDMI switch. I wish this one had an audio out to connect to my old audio receiver.

Will not work with Comcast Cable.

I purchased this splitter and hooked it up to my entertainment system. it works well with Apple TV, Xbox and our Blueray. It does not work with Comcast cable. it is not a Rocketfish issue as Comcast is blocking any splitter from working. One of the reasons I rate Rocketfish and Best buy low is they should know this. I asked Best Buy if it would work and he said they never had any issues. Comcast is the main provider in this area and Best Buy should have warned me. Second reason is there is no trouble shooting with the product. I had to do a lot to find out it was Comcast that was the issue. Rocketfish support actually told me the box was bad and i has to returen it. I did and it still did not work with Comcast.

Went into the store, explained what I needed and the salesperson directed to the splitter. Nothing fancy, just does what the box says it does.

Works great for connecting my bedroom TV and living room TV to my cable box. Both TV's don't have to be on, which works perfectly as the second TV is my bedroom TV

My laptop is the signal source. I'm using the first output to send the signal to the monitor. The second output goes to the Blu-Ray player with 5.1 audio system, and then from the player to HDTV.
It works great - crystal clear picture, awesome 5.1 sound, no loss of quality whatsoever. I've tried a few things to route the signal, but this splitter does the job perfectly.
Definitely worth the money
