I do IT, the ones I purchased prior were silver in color and would not transmit my internet signal from my gateway. Seen these on a shelf and decided to try. Performed a speedtest prior to installation and after. The speed was unchanged.

Make for a nicer connection behind a shelf as cable now connect along the wall. No speed penalty. Get 512MB spectrum speed
