Just plug it in to switched power on the receiver and use the rca adapter included to go to input of your choice. Then you can stream from your phone or any bluetooth source. I love it!

One big flaw

It’s cheap, and it worked for what I needed it for at short notice (allowing creative staff to play tracks through the sound system at a theater during rehearsals) but I shall probably replace it with a better one.

I have a couple of Bose SoundTouch wi-fi speakers but the lag when bluetooth streaming from devices was unacceptable. Adding this bluetooth receiver to my vintage sound system from the late 1970’s solves the problem and brings me back to the good old days when I crank it up and rock out to my lifelong favorites!

Comunications distance is much better than the Yamaha receiver works at. Would most definitely recommend someone purchasing this. Price was cheap enough as well.
