As you can see they can replace the stock silver ones that come with the wall plates. I got them simply because my modem was dropping signal and I needed to make it work and be reliable. I’m also the type that gets excited with new gear and fast internet speeds. Looks nice.

I needed 30' of coaxial cable but only had a 5' cable available. A quick trip to Best Buy, a purchase of a 25' cable and these couplers and I was all set. They connect tight to the cable and provide a great bridge between the 2 lengths of cable. These couplers work like a charm!
