    If you are looking for a cheap replacement to charger your vita 1000 or psp then this will work for you. I bought this to replace the original cable that was lost. This cable will charge the system but is not able to be used for data transfer. So you will not be able to transfer games from your ps3 or 4 via usb. Neither will the content manger on a pc can be used via usb. The power adapters are good for other things that use usb for charging so that is a plus. Good for charging and that is all it will do.

    I purchased this product believing that I could fully replace the PS Vita cable that came with my console but came to find out that I could not use it to back up my system to my computer or to my PS3. I cannot recommend it as a replacement and it doesn't help that BB took the official Sony cables out of their stores. This product costs a little too much only to charge the Vita. It should meet or exceed the original products functions and this does not.
