I'll start by stating that I purchased a refurbished model at more than 1/2 off the regular price. With that being said, both the reciever and transmitter work great. I have my PC set across the room (20') away, and I don't have either one mounted yet as I wanted to see if they actually worked first. The transmitter is on my computer desk behind my lcd monitor, and receiver in the Entertainment center under the TV. I have walked between the devices several times and have only had loss of signal if I am standing directly in front of the TV stand (less than 1 foot). Very easy setup - plug and play simple. (I did have to configure my audio on my computer, however since this wasn't designed specifically for computers is a non issue for this application) The only con: I would have preferred if both the HDMI and the Power cords were on the same side of the receiver. Would make it much easier for wall mounting. Expectations exceeded: I was expecting to have signal loss with foot traffic between the two devices, based on reviews of similar products. Which meant I was planning on mounting these close to the ceiling = ungodly cords hanging. however I have ditched that theory, simply because I dont have to. I have no loss of signal with normal usage. Fantastic!

Flip the switches on, plug the HDMI cables in and play. I have the transmitter and receiver only 5 feet apart, but that's all I need and it works great! I now have my TV mounted above my fireplace with no wires and it looks better than I could have imagined.
