Buying a protective case to help prevent damage in the event I drop the phone, and incur repair costs over $100, seemed reasonable to me when I bought my new Samsung Galaxy S3. I like the sleek style of the case, but still wanted to see how the phone felt without it. Of course it seemed slimmer and I was going to try using the phone for a few days without the case. THEN - I felt the back of the phone and it felt very slippery. I can easily imagine the phone dropping out of my hands, pants pocket or jacket pocket. That is a risk I am unwilling to make after a major purchase. Peace of mind is worth the small price for the case - at least when purchased in a value-pack with a display shield at Best Buy.

My previous case i had before was a chinese replica of a otter box which i bought on ebay, so when that case finally fell apart i needed a cheap case and seen this one was only $9.99 i jumped on it quick because it was the last one, ive only dropped my once with the case and the case works great this case was a real bargain

I bought my daughter her first phone and, judging from the condition of some of her other devices, KNEW I would need to get her a durable case (and a protection plan)! In the first week it has suffered 3 drops : road, floor, and sidewalk, and the phone has survived beautifully! While I'm sure that you could damage this case with a hammer, under normal teenage abuse I can't see anything phasing it. It is simply a great case, and I'm glad I had the brains to buy it!

My boyfriend loved it.. it looks nice and expensive. Of course the quality was not as good as the OTTER's, but the price is way better!!!!!

Picked up this case for my wife's Galaxy S III. The case fits well and offers good protection against drops. Recommended.

very good case for the price. it hasn't come off, scratched, or collected lint, sand, etc. yet and I'm an active person. I actually have had a couple people come up and ask me where I got it who have similar samsung phones.

if you want inexpensive and thin and good protection for the money buy this case. If you want heavy duty protection, if you drop phones often or use it on a job site buy something more expensive and heavy duty

I've always taken special care to have protectors for my phones, as they're inevitably dropped or jostled in some way. This one fits great, as I've come to expect, and seems durable.

I added an additional screen shield to compliment this unit for one extra step for my smartphone. Including this would be a real plus for the attraction of the overall package.

Nice case. It does not get stuck in a purse or pocket and it does not come off of the phone. Keeps the sleek profile of the phone. Although, to be honest, I find most of the cases to be overpriced this one was at the lower price range and it has been very functional.

Very good phone protector and would reccomend to family and friends. I have droped phone a couple of times and there was no damage to phone.
