Its more of a musical than a straight biography, but if you enjoy Elton John's music, its a fun viewing, especially if you can watch it on some good speakers.

A one man show, Egerton crushes it as Elton John, and it did what Bohemian Rhapsody tried to do: create a real experience for such an iconic rockstar. This held nothing back and had a musical vibe to it. Well done.

Not what I expected However after watching the extras in which Elton John gave some detailed background including his input for the movie it made more sense

One of my favorite Music biopics. This is Edgier than Bohemian Rhapsody. If you can tolerate the Drugs, Profanity and Gay elements then it's a fun time.

Love the movie and all of my favorite songs. I love how all the characters are able to sing and bring the different piece's of Elton's life to the movie.

One of the best musical biopics there is. ...and unlike Bohemian Rhapsody this is a true musical. A spectacular fun time. Well acted and totally original.

I didn’t catch this movie in the theatre but I heard really good things...and after watching it in 4K I was blown away and wish I had seen it in theatres!

This is a great movie about a legend in his own time from the time we go up to the time that he retired from touring it doesn’t get better than Elton John

I’ve always been an Elton John fan so I had to get this movie. The young man playing Elton is really good playing him. And of course the music is great.

Enjoyable and potent biography of Elton John, realistically portrayed and sung. Interesting evolution of a shy youngster turned powerhouse musical icon.

I enjoyed the Elton John story. But the movie seemed more of a musical piece than a documentary movie. I liked Bohemian Rhapsody much more as a good rock N roll exciting movie about a historical band.

When I first saw it I didn’t expect a musical but even though I hate musicals I loved this film. Great performance and one of my all time favorites.
