    This film is based on the musical life of Elton John. It speaks of his "addictive" personality and his struggles to find peace and happiness in both his personal life and his career. It features his many amazing hits and costume choices of that era. A must have for any "Rocketman" fan!

    Some movie exec saw 'that movie about that singer' making a ton of $ and thought he could cash in on it. This was the poor attempt. It does have a couple good moments hence the second star but a couple good moments does not make a good movie. Leave this on the shelf and watch Bohemian Rhapsody twice.

    I was an early fan of Elton, and Tumbleweed Connection is still one of my favorite albums. Then he went nutz, made a ton of money, and pretty much lost me forever. This film documents his fall from gracefulness quite well.

    Watching this movie I found out a lot of info that I didn't know about Elton. Story was well told; the music was great and I really enjoyed it.

    I met Elton before he became Sir and this movie gave me some insights into his wild life. But I felt pulled and after watching once I won't see it again. Still it was work the purchase.
