Way Better Than The First Edition!!!

Graphics haven't changed much but there are a ton more features as compared to the first edition to get lost in! If you're new to the franchise the best way I can describe it is if you're familiar with Guitar Hero, the game play is similar but opposed to you only pressing colors on a toy guitar you actually learn to play real chords on a real guitar! New to this addition is you can choose not only to play with a bass or six-string, you can also choose to take a rhythm or lead guitarist approach to all the songs. New songs are uploaded every Tuesday that can be downloaded, but best of all... you can adjust the difficulty in real time whenever you want! No more of your show off friend coming over and cranking up the difficulty automatically because it adjust to you and then having to erase everything and start over! So excited, never picked up a guitar before but I just learned to play my first full riff! :-)

I loved the first Rocksmith and had to get this sequel as soon as it was released. The improvement over the first is very noticeable and makes learning guitar that much easier. The available track list and DLC has something for everyone. Highly recommended.

It puts you right on track to learn playing the guitar. The only problem I found with it is that it's not THAT much better from the 2013 version (as promoted). Also, cough up the extra 10 bucks for the cable. You're gonna have a lotta friends and family that are gonna wanna play along soon enough!!!

I've never been consistent enough to really learn guitar well but I like this because it keeps the interest here even when frustration sets In. It is easy to learn and adapts to your ability.

Fun guitar learning game. DLC is expensive but allows you to add songs after you master the included ones.

I like the game but I think it suffers from the same problem as the first. That being that I am used to learning songs by slowly learning the riff each note at at time then putting it all together. I am still trying this method but I find the other method a little better

Teaches you how to play at your own pace!

I played Rocksmith on both the Xbox 360 (when I had one) and also on the PlayStation 3. I specifically purchase a new bass guitar and this game solely taught me how to play it at my own pace as I progressed. It is like guitar hero but on steroids and you play with your own real guitar. I like how you can switch from the guitar to bass a back in an instant. Also if you have two real tone cables, you can have a friend play the bass and you the guitar in two player mode. You can even purchase new songs and song packages from the playstation network also so you can enjoy learning and playing your favorite songs from your favorite artists. This game is semi-challenging, easy to progress through, unique, and highly recommended if your a pro or beginner. I recommend this to any one who enjoys playing and anyone who would like to learn productively. Amazing game with a 5 star rating. BUY IT NOW at your favorite Best Buy location or pre-order it online.

I had the original Rocksmith and liked it. The newer version is definitely more user friendly. I just wish you could import songs from previous version without having to pay.
