There are a lot of cool songs to learn and play. It doesn't feel like a tutor program, it totally feels and looks like a game. I even use my electric bass and it is compatible.

I dropped $200 on a solid electric Fender Strat just to play this game. I've taken lessons in the past and actually learned more from this $50 game than $500 in lessons.

I use to play guitar and this is pretty much a tutorial on how to play every song in the game. Very fun to play and learn new songs, I can see how it would be great for beginners.

Rocksmith is a good aid to learning to play guitar. I was skeptical at first, but picked it up and was successful rather quickly. I would definitely recommend this product!

My 14 year old was very frustrated at first. It took some adjustments to get the feel of it but now she enjoys it and I'm convinced it helps her interest in learning.

Been playing for several years but Rocksmith is a fun way to learn new songs and challenges me to learn new skills. Definately recommend it to players of all skills.

I thoroughly enjoy playing this game. I have been playing guitar for 22 years now and I wish I had this back when I started! My 8 year old daughter plays it and is learning on it so its easy enough for a novice as well. Just one thing to know. You need to make sure it is directly hooked up to external audio (soundbar, surround sound, etc.) or there will be a huge lag in playback time!

I just recently purchased RockSmith to help me learn how to play guitar! They say its the fastest way possible to call yourself a guitar player! We shall see...

I bought this game on a whim after not playing for a couple of years. It's giving me a great refresher course on guitar. I'm enjoying the new songs I'm learning.

The rocksmith game is good for holding ones attention to learn guitar basics. The arcade games are a nice subtle way to learn your way around the fret board.

It actually teaches you how to play step by step. I'm just starting out and i already got a compliment from the Girlfriend that i was coming along great..

Just had this game for a week and already know 2 songs. It's takes baby steps and explains everything pretty good. If you want to learn, buy this for sure

I self taught myself how to play the guitar, but I wanted to learn how to play some crazy solos, This game totally made me learn some pretty cool songs.

My first Rocksmith game and so far it has been a blast. Learning to play is still a tough task but this does make it very enjoyable for the whole family.

You have to use this game at least once a day but if you stick to your guns it will pay off. This game has videos to help anyone learn to play a guitar!
