The title in the web is "Rocksmith Guitar and Bass" and that is the reason I purchased it. The issue with this product is that this is the original "Rocksmith Guitar" that requires you to purchase the Bass option to play Bass. Web description should indicate that. I was traveling and I purchased it by the web because I found it in a store near my hotel. When I picked it up, I told the clerk this was not what I expected and I tried to cancel my order at that time, but the girl told me it was too late because she closed the order before I verified the product.

I got a guitar for christmas, and have been dying to play this game. I bought this and had a bad feeling that it wouldn't come with the cable so I opened it right at the counter I picked it up at and returned it immediately when I did not see the cable. I will have to buy this new I guess.

It doesn't say anywhere that this preowned version of the GAME is the GAME only. It does not include the cable!!!!!!! The Cable is the only way you can play this game!!!!!!! It should be illegal to sell this game wtihout the Cable!!!!!!!! But low and behold Best Buy sold it to me without the Cable. CANCELLLED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Before you purchase this used game, take a good look at the description and the picture. They are not the same thing. I thought I ordered the "Guitar and Bass" edition. By all accounts, I did according to the product name and description; however, what I received was the original Rocksmith game. This is ridiculous! What did you get?
