this is the best love story of our time - rocky a super unknown coming up from nothin on the streets of philly. if youv'e ever taken a shot at doing something that you really believed in, whether you failed or succeeded, then this move is for you.

Classic Movie! Purchased as a gift for my sister-in-law. She enjoys movies, since she doesn't have smart TV or streaming service. Glad that Bust Buy still carries DVD's.

The first Rocky movie along with the last one (in my opinion) is the best of the Rocky series. Reminds me of a great first album by a new Band. Script, acting (maybe not the fight scenes as much) top rate. Go Stallone!!!

Based on a true story of a local fighter given the opportunity to fight the heavyweight champion of his time. The training actually performed by Sylvester Stallone was awesome. Carl Weathers portrayal of Apollo Creed was true to the character.

The best of all the Rocky films. Great story telling, we'll written and we'll acted and Sly Stallone's best performance. Most sequels were enjoyable but not as good except for Creed which is almost as good. The extras were well worth it.

Rocky was always my hero! I lost the DVD and was so thrilled to see it on the shelf. If you were a fan, get it or better yet get all 5 of the Rocky films. I binged out one weekend and it was “great!” Buy it.

There's a reason this won Best Picture at the time. Stallone plays a wonderfully loveable, somewhat slow-witted boxer who inspires all of Philadelphia. Although the pacing is slow and rather plodding by today's standards, the story still holds up as one about love and the benefit of good, old-fashioned hard work. If you can get your kids to sit still long enough, it's not bad for family viewing.

I love this movie and for those who love alone this is the one for you this is the movie that started it all from Rocky to Rambo and the list just keeps going on everything's the bestest alone touches is gold

Rocky Balboa is one of the greatest cinematic characters ever created, brought to life by Sylvester Stallone. You must watch this movie, and be sure to check out the very insightful bonus documentaries.

This movie starts the long running Rocky series. It is by far the best of the movies. It tells the story of the rise of a washed up boxer and his attempt to win the world championship.

If you have the film collection on Blu-ray already, then there's really no need to buy this title. Unless you're a true collector, then grab this one. The restoration is excellent!

All these years later, Rocky stands up really well. And this version might be the best yet. Hours and hours of extras, crystal clear picture. The original and outstanding. Enjoy!

Rocky is a classic we all know this but I’ve never owned the movie so when I saw these new slipcovers I knew I had to get it and I’m so glad I did.

I had never seen Rocky until I watched Creed and felt like I had a hole in my heart the size and shape of Sylvester Stallone. This movie is... wait for it... a knockout.

If you’re a big Rocky fan you know tou have to get this. His movies give inspiration, I know it’s just a movie but isn’t it why we watch them.

IN THE 40 YEARS SINCE ROCKY WAS RELEASED ITS INCREDIBLE WATCHING IT ON BLU RAY. IT HAS SO MANY EXTRAS . IT WAS LIKE WATCHING IT FOR THE FIRST TIME AGAIN. GREAT JOB !
