I just went through and rewatched the entire Rocky saga before catching Creed II in theatres. And watching back to back to back you realize just how consistently good this series was. Oh, there's the odd misstep (looking at you, Rocky V) but mostly solid to outstanding films. This presentation is great, really enhanced the images and made me realize just how crapy my old VHS copies were.

Bought these so my boys could catch up on the Rocky time-line to the Creed time-line. Still great classics. Wish there were digital copies also but not a deal breaker obviously.

I loved Rocky growing up so when I saw the anniversary box set, I had to have it. It was the last box set. Super lucky that day. If not, I would have ordered it online. Rocky!

As I have always been posting here, one should always be on the lookout for Best Buy's special price offers and compare these with other sellers (both retail and online) for the same or similar items. Hence, I was very happy to find this boxed Blu-Ray set of the six "Rocky" movies (the 2015 film "Creed" is not part of this) at just a little over $20 (net of tax) at Best Buy. Others would sell this at between $30 to $40, or instead carry other versions that only have the first four movies (i.e., "Rocky" I to IV) usually in DVD at about $12 to 15. Thus, the boxed set that I recently purchased was a true "knockout collection" of the greatest boxing film series in cinema history, with some nice special features and extras in the discs of "Rocky I" and "Rocky Balboa" (or "Rocky VI"). Although, the picture quality of the first three films was somewhat "grainy," this boxed set all in all is still great value for money for "Rocky" fans like me who have closely followed the film series since the first film's original theatrical release in 1976.

This is the perfect collection for the Rocky movies I saw it and I had to buy it ,it's a reminder of me with my dad when we went to watch Rocky in the theater.

My teenage son saw the Creed movies, but never knew how it originated...so I had to buy the Rocky box set. My son loves it more than the Creed movies!
