Unique gameplay but mixed experience

The main draw of the game is the unique flying mechanic, best played on the Wii version. The story and graphics and rest of the game however is not the best so the gameplay--which is good--is only barely enough to carry the game. Only recommended if you really enjoy unique gameplay mechanics especially on the Wii remote.

It's always hard to find WiiU retail games. If you enjoy games that are Star Fox esqe, this is worth a try. The Wii game that also comes in here is actually the better game. At $30 or less this is certainly worth a go if you like action shooting genre.

Purchase the WiiU game, but get the 2-disc set so you can play the Wii version.

The Wii U version is poo, the game was meant to be played with the wii mote.the Wii U version comes with both versions on 2 discs and both box arts. Kinda like a flying sonic game..... its decent but dont even bother with the Wii U version.

The game for the Wii U is basically a rail shooter but you are controlling a flying character the fun version is the free Wii version that it comes with, that one plays in a different style similar to Nights on the sega Saturn.

This game is an updated port of a Wii game which happens to be much better than the Wii U version. Fortunately, the launch edition comes with the original game as well. Do some research on the Wii and Wii U comparisons before buying.

Rodea for WiiU is a decent game, but surprisingly, the bonus WII version of the game is really good, and makes it worth the purchase. It's an old school game, but it's a lot of fun.

Colorful, adventurous game perfect for the Wii U. Package contains both the Wii U version and the original Wii title. Many prefer the Wii Title but both are great in their own way

An interesting shooter. If you have the choice then I recommend playing the Wii version which uses motion controls and is far more intuitive to play. Fortunately both versions of the game were included.

Fans have waited a long time for Rodea the Sky Soldier, but unfortunately the final experience never comes within range of Yuji Naka’s past masterpieces. Okay but not epic.

This Wii U game's first print comes with a Wii version on a second disc, which in my opinion is the better game play-wise. Graphics-wise, the Wii U version looks better. This game is supposed only being produced in limited quantities so if you want to add it to your Wii U collection, better to buy it sooner than later.
