I like that it can run all my games without problems at all, and you can use any other programs a normal PC would, plus you have a built-in controller & gyro for that gaming prowess.

Let me start off with, besides a Nintendo Switch this is the only other handheld I have used. As an adult with a job that usually has me working 60 hours a week I really enjoy the ROG Ally X. I can jump right back into a game and not have to boot up my desktop. My desktop is in my office and on weekends I use it for gaming but with this I can be in the living room waiting for my dinner fight a few rounds, playthrough a few levels, etc. then put it right down. It fits in my backpack so I can take it with me as well. The battery life is good and I charge mine usually once a week. Keep in mind I usually am gaming for around 15 to 30 mins 3 to 4 days per week. Windows is a clunky platform but I game in Steam and Xbox so I already knew what I was getting into. The armory crate takes you straight to your game library so that cut down on some of the windows induced clunkiness. I would recommend this any one who wants to game on the go or who really doesn't have time to sit at their PC to play, but wants to game.

Where do I begin. I started with a normal rog ally extreme z1 I believe it’s called. It was white. It was awesome, I loved everything about it, except the fact that it only had 500gb. I could basically only play Modern Warfare on it. I bought the new ROG ALLY X with 2TB and I have my entire childhood in the palm of my hands anywhere I go. It just makes me happy, brings a lot of good memories growing up everytime I see all the games in my rog, it really makes me realize how much of a geek I am, but I ultimately don’t care. The ROG ALLY X is does EVERYTHING a gaming PC essentially does all at the palms of your hands. I highly recommend it to anyone who likes to game on the go, if you travel a lot, it’s the console for you 1000%. I’m so happy with my ROG ALLY X if I can give it 10 stars I’d be saying I wish I can give it 100.

This is a great handheld gaming device, it has more then enough storage with still more room for expansion with a microSD port. Great battery life 80Wh, with multiple performance settings that are easily accessible. Easily plays Black Ops 6, Cyberpunk, Fallout 76 and Red Dead2. Allows you to use a HDMI to USB-C to connect to larger TVs and use just like a computer with Bluetooth mouse and keyboard. I've actually used this for work purposes and its quite snappy when switching between programs and windows.

Really good substitution when you’re away from PC. Didnt have high hopes as you cant compare a full PC with this but it runs every game I play pretty good with get what i feel is really good FPS for what it is! You will have to tweak some graphic settings but on the 7in display, with 24gb of ram and 120hz…..you can barely make out too much difference from 1080p to 900 or even 720p. Games I’ve played on it are COD, Battlefield 2042, Helldivers 2, Forza 5, Forza motorsports, Hogwarts Legacy, Avatar, Star wars Jedi, The Division 2, Fortnite, and the Tomb radier games. Hogwarts and Avatar have been the only teo games where it has a few stutters and fps drops into the 30’s. I wont say they are completely unplayable just feel these are a little to graphically demanding games for this but if you don't mind a few stutters here and there they are not the best experience but are playable.

Amazing handheld pc. I recommend 2TB or you need to upgrade with additional ssd. It has arround 3 hours playing time with new AAA games and between 60-80 fps. Also great for emulation games.

I love this thing so much, it makes gaming on the go so much easier. It is not bulky at all. Pair this with a dbrand killswitch case then you have a killer combo.

Honestly such a good handheld device and worth the price ive enjoyed playing it every time i turn it on, it does have a major issue which is the setup process gotta turn some settings on and optimize certain games but once you get it down, it becomes second nature i highly recommend getting a screen protector and a case as the screen scratches really easily.

Great device so far no complaints does everything it says it would. Never had a gaming PC or Laptop but this device gets me into the PC world without having to commit. But now im having thoughts of getting one.

The ROG Ally X has been a great purchase! I love having the ability to play steam, Xbox, and even PS5 remote play. It's also nice being able to move around and play anywhere there is wifi. I highly recommend the ROG ally X. In my opinion it is hands down way better than the switch 2 as you get to play pretty much any game from any consol. Highly recommend

This is a great device. The new 80 watt battery is giving me 2 hours of COD Multiplayer at 17w performance operating mode and the FPS is keeping up with Red dead, Fortnite, COD, and Hogwarts. I haven't had a problem with the SD card, and the windows operating system allows me to run my epic, steam, and Xbox games all on one device so I can buy games on different platforms while utilizing the discounts on those platforms. The hardest thing about the windows platform is having to update software in multiples places. You have the Windows store, windows updates, rog software updates and Armoury app. Steamdeck is easier in that department. As for cases and extra battery options, a 65w portable batter with 20,000+ adds another 2 hours game time. It's come in handy for log airport layovers. I use the Jsaux silicone shell case so my front screen is protected with a hard shell and it's not a bulky case that I have to fit into luggage or backpack.

Holding back and really thinking of getting the Steam deck, Nintendo Switch 2 or the Ally x, I made the right choice. From removable M.2 Ssd to Windows operating system. This dose not disappoint in any way. The battery will last me 4-6 hrs depending on heavy games and or the FPS limiter. Sounds is great and the feel is like holding an Xbox controller.

Is and excellent gaming handheld but is expensive compared to a pc and some other issues like trying to set up some game don't work with out internet bust i looks great runs cyberpunk 2077 on medium graphics is a great opcion if you look power and quality on the go

This has to be one of the best things I bought. It is pricy, but I don’t need a laptop anymore. I use this for mostly gaming, but I also surf the web. I did buy an adaptor that pretty much made this a home PC.

Love it. Bought it so I had a handheld for a two week trip away from the PC and consoles. Works great. Reasonable battery life. Handles my Steam library and Game Pass as well as emulation. Totally worth the money.

That asus Rig Ally is fire I definitely recommend it especially if yiu love wrestling games or if you are a story driven action gamer its a no brainer
