It’s a good device plays most of my games no problem can watch movies sports or anime on it battery last a good amount of time my only complaint would be that you need WiFi in order to use it if that wasn’t an issue it would be a 5 star product

Excited to experience mobile gaming with an Xbox product with the new ROG Xbox Ally. For the first time, I can take my Xbox experience on the go without settling for watered-down performance or awkward touch screen controls. The ergonomic control feels familiar, the grip, button layout, and overall feel of the device closely mirror an Xbox controller, which makes transitioning into mobile play incredibly natural. One of the biggest additions is its ability to run Windows 11. As someone who’s never been deeply immersed in the PC gaming world, this opens up a whole new doorway. Now, I can explore PC libraries, emulators, mods, and even productivity apps. The flexibility is honestly exciting and something I didn’t expect to appreciate this much. Cloud gaming is also a nice feature, especially since it helps save space on the device. Being able to stream games instead of installing them makes the device feel even more versatile. That said, latency can creep in depending on the connection, so it's not perfect for every situation or every game. I will mention that not everything is completely intuitive. Some of the extra buttons like the Command Center button, View button, and Library button can take a bit of getting used to. They don’t feel as immediately functional or natural as the standard control layout, so there’s a small learning curve. Additionally, troubleshooting and adjusting things through BIOS can feel intimidating at first, but are useful once you learn your way around it. There are also many ways to customize views, buttons, and default settings that are great but challenging. Overall, the ROG Xbox Ally is a game-changer for someone like me who’s rooted in the Xbox ecosystem but eager to explore what mobile and PC gaming have to offer. It’s powerful, flexible, and fun, exactly what I hoped a handheld Xbox experience would feel like.

It’s a great system to play and it’s on the go and it’s one of my best purchases I ever made.

I purchased the Rog Xbox Ally as I have been traveling more wanted to have something to help with my downtime. Overall I have enjoyed using this device with Xbox Ultimate subscription. There is a learning curve with the UI which took me a few hours to get better at navigating. Overall have enjoyed this for gaming watching videos on the go!

Definitely far better than I thought it was going to be! It runs very smooth and the storage capacity is high enough for me to download the majority of the games that I planned on downloading anyways, I got a microSD card though and it was a seamless transition to download and use it. I have to say that with 100% certainty for the price of this device I would buy an additional one just as a backup just because the performance depressed ratio is more than balanced

I have a Steam Deck Oled and Legion Go and have been wanting to add a Rog Ally to my collection. The ergonomics is what sold me on the Rog Xbox Ally. Performance wise it is on par with the Steam Deck Oled. I highly recommend. If you are looking for the highest Fps at higher resolutions on AAA titles, go for the X version. If you're ok with 720p gaming with good Fps and good battery life, go for the base Rog Xbox Ally (white one).

Bought for my 11 year old daughter who wanted a gaming / mobility / desktop computer. This handles all of it. At home hooked up to mouse keyboard and monitor acts / performs as a desktop computer. On the go unplug and you have a mobile gaming unit able to play all pc games + Xbox. Will prolly buy more of there for the other kiddos when time is right.

This thing is sick.. better than the steam deck. My boyfriend is obsessed with the performance and quality on this

I bought mine as an excellent grade open box, no complaints there. Previously had a Z1E and was more impressed by that than the Xbox ROG, all around a great product but for me personally iT does not preform well enough for the titles I play.

I love my device I can play almost everything their maybe a few games that you can’t play but other than that it’s such an amazing device don’t have to carry around a giant laptop anymore I can just take this with me

I love this Device i use it everyday becasue i work on a boat and i have some free time really portable and feels good in the hands

This is my favorite electronic I've purchased in years!!! I had the first version, then i upgraded to this one ! The features are soo much better better space and the games look better in every aspect. The battery life is awesome and it takes up all my time!

I like the console it allowed me to access pc games that I wasn’t able to get on my PS5. The system itself is slower than I would like and wish I’d was smoother. The interface is slightly confusing and requires time to navigate through the system to find what your looking for.

This thing is amazing. Like having a gaming laptop without having to be connected to the wall. I wish the screen size was a tad bigger but other than that it's great. Sound quality is good and loud.

Its not the most powerful device, but man is it fun to be able to play some of my most favorite games easily on the go.
