Great movie and a great addition to the Star Wars story. Even though it is rated PG-13 my two younger daughters were fine watching it (age 7 & 10) so it was not bad at all just the usual laser and light saber stuff.

The picture quality of this movie is excellent. However, I'm impressed with the feel of this movie. It doesn't feel like any other Star Wars movie. This is a war story. And the ending with Darth Vador is excellent!

This fits nicely with the rest of the steel book editions of Star Wars movies. Great value, 4 discs includes 3D copy and iTunes copy. The place to buy Star Wars movies if you want to keep your collection consistent

Good typical story about the Star Wars universe that doesn't include the original three characters (Luke, Leiaia, Han). This tells the story of how the rebellion got the plans to the Death Star that Luke destroyed in Star Wars IV: The New Hope. Good fleshing out of characters and describing what the universe was like at this time. No better than Star Wars IV, V, VI, but better than Star Wars I, II, III.

Loved the Movie in the theaters, saw it twice and watched it a few times on my blu-ray player. only downside is that it doesnt have a commentary or deleted scenes. im sure im just a klutz and bought it quick before they re-release it again with more additional special features later the same year or something. i was just really looking forward to having a cast and crew commentary on the Darth Vader scenes.

The Steelbook version contains the DVD, Blu-ray, 3D Blu-ray versions of the movie and a bonus features disc as well. I watched the 3D version, but there really isn't much of 3D, so it seems like a waste. The regular Blu-ray is very good and quality is up there with all the other Blu-rays. The movie itself is a great Star Wars story to fill in background, but is a little slow to get started into the action.

For anyone that hasn't seen this by now must've been living under a rock. A new cast tells the story that binds episodes 3 and 4( the original), after the rise of the empire, the completion of the Death Star, and how those plans came to Princess Leia Organa. Well told, well acted, a good story and great special effects! I got the 3D multi pack and the 3D is actually very good here. I'd highly recommend it.

Definitely one of my favorite Star Wars movies, I'm leaning towards thinking it's the best one yet. Digital copy on this one allows Itunes download, unlike some other movies I've bought, so that's good, too.

This sets up 'A New Hope' so well. You love the characters immediately as soon as you meet them. K2SO is one of the best characters/droids in the series of Star Wars. This movie is a fantastic standalone war movie.

I absolutely love this new Star Wars film, I dare say it's just as good as the force awakens or even better. A total thriller from start to finish and any Star Wars fan will not be disappointed. This is a great buy

This movie was quite a bit better than I expected it to be. I read that it was just to fill in info on the beginning of the original trilogy. Good story line, making it easy to understand some of the first trilogy!

Great Prequel with all the action one expects from the series . Some of the same oh same ol but most of the movie is a whole new adventure with the girl of your dreams . If you're going to Dream . . . Make it big .

This movie was different than the others and can easily compete as one of the best. Great job casting, directed well. Overall I was very pleased and hope they continue to film star wars like they did this last one.

40y fan of the SW franchise (sans Jar Jar). This SW prequel an excellent addition to the library. Managed to get a copy of the SteelBook in store on day of release (forgot to pre-order). Would definitely recommend.

This is the backstory to the first Star Wars(#4 A New Hope). My grandson and I loved it(except the ending). The 3-D version looks really good and the sound is great. A really enjoyable movie(except for the ending).

I liked this story... it fills in the details about the mission to steal the plans to the Death Star from Star Wars Ep. IV. Well crafted, acted well (enough for the genre), and the usual great SW effects!

Absolutely enjoyed this movie. Movie had a darker tone then any of the other Star Wars movies and it paid off. Nothing better then getting to add another movie to a series that you already love to watch through.

My Best Buy experience was good. I enjoy the Star Wars entry and it fits nicely in the storyline leading up to A New Hope. Disney Customer Service is disappointing. When I was redeeming the digital content, the site faulted, giving an Amazon code instead of the itunes as I selected. Disney's response. They have no control and I got what I got. Stuck with Amazon. Very unhappy with Disney's lack of concern.

This is just excellent, if you have not seen it you need to. It's simply a great action movie and it sets up episode IV, A New Hope perfectly. Watch them back to back and episode IV will be even better than before

Love this movie. Really like how they included so much stuff from all the other Star Wars movies into this one but gave it a different twist. Probably my favorite of all Star Wars. Amazing effects and a great price
