We saw this in the theater -- thought it was good, although not as good as we had hoped. However, we really enjoyed watching it again on Blu-ray at home on our new TV (also just purchased at Best Buy).

"Rogue One" is a great movie link to the wonderful series before and after. It tells a tale of survival and family issues. Loved the way the movie incorporated the late Carrie Fisher and Peter Cushing.

Saw Rogue One twice in the theater and several times now on Blue Ray! If you are a Star Wars fan you probably already own this, but for those Star Trek fans I recommend Rogue One as a sure alternative.

The film was a true stand alone story. It so aptly answered so many unanswered questions fans had since the release of the originals and the great Easter eggs throughout were a nice touch. The visuals and characters were wonderful and the story itself didn't feel like a rehash of a previous installment. A great addition to your collection even if you don't own any of the other films.

But have you ever heard the tragedy of Darth Plagueas the Wise? It's not a story the Jedi would tell you. Speaking of Jedi, this movie is probably on par with the 1983 classic ROTJ in terms of fun.

This is not a perfect film. However, it contains a solid story without expectation of sequels or spin offs. Just one great, contained yarn in the Star Wars universe.

This is an incredible movie! It is a great story that answers many questions of what happened before Star Wars IV. This movie has a great story, wonderful acting, and is more than just special effects.

I had doubts when I heard about the anthology films, but this might be my favorite Star Wars yet. Be warned, it is more adult then previous entries in the series and might be less suited for kids.

Great picture and sound. Steelbook looks better than the images online. The product itself is great. Unfortunately, i had to order it and get it a week later due to stores selling out of the steelbooks

Star Wars movies never disappoint! This is a great addition to the series. I wasn't sure how they would be able to run these stories out of order but they pulled it off. Love watching with the family.

A second brilliant film in the Disney era of Star Wars and a perfect lead in to 1977's original A New Hope. All the questions you ever had are now answered and done in masterpiece style. A mew classic.

I have enjoyed this movie very much. I like the direction that has been taken to explain the events that lead up to the original Star Wars. Also, K-2SO is a great droid to add to the lore of Star Wars.

I was skeptical when this movie first went into production because I figured they couldn't really make a great story out of it, but I ended up loving this just as much as Star Wars. Really great movie!

My kids love the Star Wars movies, personally I'm on the other end of the equation and grew up with Star Trek. This movie by far is the best of all 8 movies and swinging me decidedly to the other side

This movie has the perfect mix of respect for the old Star Wars movies while incorporating a new and fresh story. It is not a feel good movie but has a good story, with good plot and plenty of action.

This was a fantastic movie! I could not wait to get home, I was not disappointed by the extras on the Blu-ray. I would have like to see some more of the ultimate stuff that they cut, but maybe one day.

Removed from the star wars saga this is a great standalone film. Add in the fact that it explains a part of the star wars saga and you have a wonderful addition to your collection of Star Wars movies.

Unlike all the Star Wars movies in the end this has a darker turn than most... yes one can make the argument good triumphs evil but shows that one does not always win all life's battles during the war.

I love the steel book editions. It makes them seem a little more special. I really liked this movie, it gives you an inside look at the plots behind the original trilogy. The 3D on this one is superb.

We are Star Wars fans, and have been since the beginning. Overall, this is our favoirte Star Wars movie. Well, maybe it's tied with Empire Strikes Back. :-) Definitely the best modern Star Wars movie.
