Boring, boring, awesome!

Gorgeously shot and full of nods to the original trilogy, but unless you like seeing Forest Whitaker wearing a costume made of threadbare tires and a dumpster dive at a hospital, there's really no heart to the story. That said, the 3rd act is pretty effin' cool to watch. It's gratuitous SFX at best, and if you like space battles, laser beams, and stuff blowing up, it's great. I still didn't care about any of the characters at that point and that SPOILER ALERT they all died. Bought the DVD for my kids. If it were just me, I would have let it sit on the shelf.
