I moved from an old Blu-ray player to this for my streaming needs. The Roku 3 is way faster at accessing content, much more intuitively built/configured, and the little headphone jack on the remote is pure genius. The only downside to the remote control headphone jack is that it seems to consume the batteries in the remote pretty quickly but that is only a minor negative.

Roku allows you to select a lot of venues like Netflix, Acorn and Amazon to mention just a few. Very easy to set up and search for programs. Also, the Roku 3 comes with headphones that plug into the channel sector that allows you to listen to the program without bothering your sleeping partner, great idea! Recommend the Roku 3 very highly!

I have owned a Roku since they were first introduced and have recommended anyone who wanted an opinion on streaming boxes. I own an Apple TV, Fire TV, Sony Blu Ray steamer and the latest greatest Samsung Smart TV and this Box is by far the best streaming experience. It's fast and reliable and the new voice search really works.

at first I was skeptical to buy this product but after and I got instinct I decided to purchase very easy to install very easy to use one of the best features that I love about is the remote were you can actually talk to it as well as you can put your ear plugs also that the apps are very easy to download

I have tried 4 other setop box and even a ps3. This thing beats them all. It does take some time to get everything set up properly but once you have all your accounts in this thing is amazing smooth and fast. The headphone jack in the remote is great! Cant say enough good things about this product.

Plugged in and easy to use. Really liked that can look up our personal media from our computers making it so we can watch our own movies, music, or other videos. Also like the wide variety of apps available through the Roku 3 so everyone has something they can watch.

I have an older ROKU 2 which has a composite connection as well as HDMI. This s great for travelling since I never know if the TV in the room is going to have an HDMI connector. What I like best about the ROKU is the MENU and being able to do a SEARCH across all the streaming channels to see where the particular video is showing - to see if I can view it for free on a site that I subscribe to or if its only available on pay sites. My friends love it because they can add their foreign language channels to the favorites set so they can watch Chinese soaps along with their American channels. I only wish TCM would sign up ... I'm sure they will sign up someday. And I also like that they do not seem to invade your privacy space like the DVD players do. It just comes up as soon as you plug it in and put in your wi-fi info - and its never down - that's gotta be the best part (reliability and ease of use)!

Bought this recently when I couldn't find a Roku 4 at my local Best Buy. Set up was simple; it's easy to use; and the picture is great. My wife has found that she likes using it more than the Apple TV.

Easy to set up. Simple and easy to navigate using the remote control. Not having to point the remote at the Roku box is really convenient. The voice search ability had finally brought Roku back into the top tier of tries type of device.

The Roku 3 is easy to setup, fast and the voice search is excellent. I can listen to the program anywhere in the house with headphones plugged into the remote.

Best Roku player thus far. Movies and shows load pretty much immediately. No delay when apps are opened. Plus the headphone jack and voice-activated search built-in to the remote is a nice, convenient touch.

We have the Chromecast and Xbox and this is faster and has a lot of App options. Love the remote that comes with it. Super easy to use. I just recommended this to a friend this week because I love it so much.

I love my Roku 3 streaming player. It's even a great replacement for my cable set top box. I can get almost all the TW cable stations I watch. There are so many free and low pay services available through it that I don't think I'll ever not find something interesting to watch. Absolutely one of the best electronic equipment purchases I have in a long time. I like it so much I bought a second one for another TV. I have had no problems with the devices. Make sure you get the latest version as there are 2 versions out there for sale. The voice search works great and it's wonderful that the remote works on RF rather than IR so I can hide the tiny box in a cabinet and still use the remote. Definitely a good replacement for cable/sat tv.

Great little new toy for your TV that is easy to set up and use. Love the private headphone capability of the remote. I'm able to catch up on all those TV programs I've missed through regular cable. Only downside is that many of the expanded channels charge a fee to access.

I bought this player to replace another manufacturer's unit that was no longer supported and not always reliable. The Roki 3 is really easy to use and really easy to set up. The picture quality is spectacular and the unit also offers additional free channels that I did not expect. The remote is very easy to use with large buttons and well laid out. I am still discovering all of the content it offers. I am extremely pleased with the purchase and use it every day.

I'm a fan of Roku. It works perfectly and is very responsive. This is the third unit that I've purchased. Setup was quick, and the headphone jack and included headphone are a nice bonus.

Have a smart tv. Thought Roku would be redundant. So much quicker, and easier to use with Roku remote than the tv remote for apps. Great idea having jack on remote for earphones.

I LOVE my Roku! I was undecided about replacing my AppleTV after letting my son take it to college with him. After reading the reviews online, decided to try the Roku3 out. Ecstatic with the purchase. The voice search feature works great and I really like the search results across all apps you have installed. Also, the headphone option is spot on...really enjoying that as well.

I've only had it for one week but so far I'm pleased with its performance and love that I can talk into the remote to search for content. Its ease of use simplifies things.
