This is the fourth Roku I've purchased, two for home, two for gifts. I like the channels and apps you can install. Plus, since it has a DLNA client, you can stream your own media. I have an older Roku 2 that had a USB port so I can watch my own media without slowing down the home network, but since this one is in my wife's craft room, it doesn't get used as much so that isn't as important. The Premier supports 1080p and HDR. I don't have a 4k television so I don't know if it supports 4k or not. If I could add anything, it would be home automation a la Apple TV or Amazon Alexa. It would be nice to turn on the sprinklers or silence the smoke detector by voice rather than running around the house.

Compared to my old Roku 2, the Premier is awesome. A whole new interface and amazing picture quality definitely make the price worth the investment.

I am quite amazed at how great this device operates. It's fast, easy and loaded with all kinds of streaming option (channels) and many additional settings that my TV doesn't even offer me. I was just sad to learn that it did not include an earphone jack, especially since my TV doesn't even have one.

There is programing we were unaware of when we purchased Roku. We are very happy with ease off installation and the overall choices programs.

I had my doubts, how one box can do it all. But, I was found wrong. It is great, so many options and easy menu to follow. Highly recommended

Needed to upgrade the old ruku so I went in and got this one works great streaming international movies for grandma she's a happy camper now

Great product, had a Chromecast and found this to be so much easier to use. Lots of great channels too! Cord cutting was never so easy.

We wanted to reduce monthly bills, the roku provides flexibility, easy to move to another room when needed. Easy to navigate between channels or shows, my 6 yr old can easily pick what he wants to watch! We did try sling before we upgraded our internet service and after... performance was ok before, but made a big difference with upgraded internet service.

best streaming device. Easy to setup and use. Very friendly navigation which even my 5 years daughter could use without any help. !

So happy I finally cut the cord on my cable service. With all the choices of things to watch it's the best thing I could of done

Our old Roku 2 just seemed to be tired. Decided to upgrade to the Roku Premiere. Huge improvement over the "2". We haven't made the leap to 4K yet, but the picture quality in 1080p is excellent. More streaming apps also. Very happy with this purchase.

Great device, the next step up is worth it for the non IR remote. Love the headphone jack in the remote for private listening to

It’s a good streaming box for the price. Easy to use and setup. If you have multiple streaming services and don’t want to spend a lot, I would highly recommend this box.

I was in a hotel and needed something to watch while traveling. This seems like a decent choice. I ended up loving the app selection, ease of use and fluid menu changes. It's a great product and highly recommended from me. Now using it on my Samsung Smart TV because the Roku is so much better than what is built into the Samsung.

had for about a month and am very happy. have a Smart TV now and was not getting any updates so decided to give Roku a try and cann't be happier. so many apps to choose from. but know what you want first, you could face extra cost for shows on History, HGTV, ESPN and such if those are the channels you watch alot it may not be for you.

Product easy to use with all movie options. Would highly recommend for those who watch Netflix and other movie channels.

Happy with my new Roku. Opens applications / movies very fast. Like the headphone feature located on the remote control.

Fairly easy to use and figure out. Only down fall is I cannot get the same apps as I could when I had Comcast and now have Verizon. Other than that, really like it!
