So many great features and easy to use. I honestly love the remote and the Bluetooth headphones work seamlessly which is great for when my wife is studying and I can still watch TV. Also tv sound is something my grandma struggles hearing the tv but the headphones are better! Tried it with AirPods and Sonys and it’s great. It’s the bells and whistles model and it feels like it. I also love the find the remote feature as our couch is remote hungry…

This is a replacement for a very early model. It was easy to install and works great

I've owned many Roku models over the years. The Ultra has always been the best, and this model is no exception. Picture quality is excellent and, as always, the Roku interface just makes sense. No muss, no fuss. On my wish list though: Roku should do multitasking, like Apple TV does, where you can have multiple apps running at the same time & easily switch between them quickly. Also, the rechargeable remote that comes with this unit is OK, but I still prefer the older style that uses 2AA batteries, and bonus, has a headphone jack as well. This remote has no headphone jack at all. I still would recommend this unit.

We were having problems with our main TV in the living room (an older model) losing wi-fi signal. We thought it must be the age of the TV or something. A Best Buy associate suggested we try this Roku Ultra. After suffering with the problem daily, it has been about 3 weeks since we installed this Roku, and not a glitch since! Highly recommend!

really like it, after we set it up my wife decided to get a smart TV which we purchased from best buy a week later. gong to be set up by the Geeks on Tuesday. going to use this device on my grand daughters TV. Great device for steaming and apps.

I have horrible wi-fi where I live in an apartment. Had to buy a Roku to stream my Netflix and Prime and this was the most wonderful thing that happened to me. I'm 84-was able to set this up and have been thrilled to get my services back. Easy Peasy and a wonderful unit.

Much to my wife's chagrin, I have a box filled with streaming devices. Apple, Chromecast with Google TV, and all the rest. Each of them have their positives, but each of them, for me, has a fatal flaw, such as the Apple TV remote won't turn my TV off when I turn the Apple TV off (or on, can't remember) requiring me to have two remotes handy. The Roku Ultra just works. The settings are easy to use, the remote is backlit which is great, it is updated regularly, and it works. We have on on each of our three TVs. The only downside is the home screen will have ads/promotions for, say, a movie even if you turn off the ads in settings. But we ignore those, and they don't get in the way at all for selecting your streaming "channels" (e.g. Youtube TV, Netflix, Hulu, etc.) A huge selection of apps, and it all just works including the remote easily and transparently controlling my TV on/off and volume. Tried them all and always come back to the Roku Ultra.

I purchased what I thought was the 2024 version of this Ultra a year ago and found out it was only the 2022 version. The 2022 version had a micro usb for charging and the 2024 a c type charging connection. Also the 2024 is twice the processor speed. It is much better Than the 2024. make sure you get the 2024 version which is the 4850x version. Also the older version which looks the same ran hotter on 4k content. The 4850x seems to have corrected that problem with the better processor.

Excellent streaming device, that is easy to paired. It is lightweight so I assume it is fragile lol. I love the hdr/dolby vision feature. where you can choose to have it on at all times, only on support content.

I have used the HDMI Roku devices for many years, and they are marvelous. But I just purchased the Roku Ultra for my 4K LG OLED TV. The first thing it did during the install was to raise the TV's levels to maximize my picture quality to match the capabilities of the Ultra. The latest research also recommends using devices like the Roku for streaming, because it will hold the WIFI signal and give the most reliable picture and sound quality possible without tiling, buffering or crashing. I highly recommend this top of the line Roku, it's well worth the extra cost.

This item well worth the extra money. It eliminated my occasional buffering problem & the rechargeable backlit remote is a fantastic upgrade from the previous battery remote. I would recommend this product.

Really wanted to love this. And it is great on a few counts. I namely got it to supplement my Apple TV 4K for the audio pass through feature. This works flawlessly. The backlit rechargeable remote is also fantastic and I find it more ergonomic than the aluminum ATV remote. But even though both are WiFi 6 compatible, and we have an excellent Asus WiFi 6 mesh network, its WiFi stability is nowhere near as solid as the Apple which has never disconnected once. The Roku disconnected a total of 5 times in the 8 days before I gave up and returned it. I know Ethernet is the ideal way to connect this but it’s not possible in our home, so if you want great WiFi, unless you’re super close to your router, this may or may not cut it. It sadly did not in our home.

Love this Ultra Roku. Lights up when touched, voice activated and extremely fast

I have bought several Rokus. Although I have smart TVs, using the Roku makes my picture quality better. It also makes maneuvering through various apps simpler and quicker. A plus is being able to watch Roku tv channels. The remote is not complicated as other remotes I have used. With Spectrum tv, it is a must. Much better than XUMO.

The best app streamer on the market! I've used many Rokus for many years and find them to be reliable, fast, great sound and picture quality. Roku is a good platform that updates there products regularly and have the largest amount of streaming apps.
