This double pack saved me a few bucks instead of ordering each one from Amazon. Overall it's a great deal if you want the the whole collection.

Romancing has a lot of charm, and is a great setup and it's fun to watch Douglas and Turner in their primes- and they have good chemistry. I had forgotten that Zemeckis directed this too, but it shows. It's well directed like his work from that era. It seems to have another connection to the 80s than, say, Back to the Future- whereas BttF somehow is a nostalgic look at the decade in which it was made, Romancing is rather pessimistic. Especially if you don't want to see a negative presentation of Colombia, that I am unable to certify as "accurate" or not. I haven't seen this since I was a kid, and like other 80s PG movies- it's a little amazing at what's in it! I mean this from a "don't go from memory when sitting down to watch this with your own kids" perspective. Which is what I did. I picked this up because I tried to watch my non-anamorphic DVD of Romancing and it was probably the worst looking DVD left in my collection. The visuals on the Blu-Ray are a vast improvement, but can only go so far to present that 80s filmstock. There is a softness to the picture, and a little color shifting that is noticeable during static shots. The sound is "fine". It's been even longer since I've seen Jewel of the Nile, which never made it into my DVD collection, and it may be a while longer yet. I'm glad to have it here with the original, but can't say it's a priority to get to it.

You can’t go wrong with one of the best classics of all time

This is one of my favorite franchises. Like the adventure and humor. There's a lot of chemistry between Michael Douglas, Kathleen Turner and Danny DeVito. I watched this films back in the 80's as a kid and it's great to have them both in one set on Blu Ray. The movie has been restored and you can compare it to the original trailer included.

I was in awe the first time I watched this as a teenage boy. Imagine your Indiana Jones hero grows up and finds real romance amidst the danger of a tropical rain forest. Plenty of roller-coaster action to keep anyone on edge blended with incredible chemistry between Douglas and Turner. Also great for couples to re-ignite that flame.

An excellent rom com for my wife and I to enjoy and reminisce from the days of our youth. Michael Douglas, Kathleen Turner, and Danny Devito provide tremendous action, comedy, and romance along with a great mystery adventure!

Michael Douglas and Kathleen Turner's characters swing into action and fall in love. For those who loved both you will love this.

We really enjoy watching these two movies. They fit well together, to be watched one after the other. And while these disks have no making of featurettes, they are hugely entertaining, and very high def!

I always liked these two movies and when I saw them together on Bluray at a great price I had to get it. If you like adventure movies with action and a little humor you will enjoy this one

I always liked these movies. You get an action movie with humor which makes it enjoyable. I think Michael Douglas does a good job. Having both of them on Bluray makes it even better.

I watched these movies many times over through the years. They are both excellent. Now on Blu-ray with better quality picture. Price was great so why not add it to the collection :)

am a big movie buff I love watching Dvd's Romancing the stone and Jewel of the nile are great movies worth the time watching.

I saw the first on. An I fell in love with this movie. Fun. Looking forward to seeing the second film.

Michael Douglas and Kathleen Turner are great in Romancing the Stone, the story is full of adventure, action, comedy. It is a great date movie, especially if your date hasn't seen it yet. The Jewel of the Nile, is a B, not as much fun. Enjoy them both.

Great story, great stars, GREAT ENTERTAINMENT! The original and its sequel, together for double the fun in one package, at a great Best Buy price.

Great movies from the 80s, sure hit for everyone who remembers seeing these at the movies!!

Of the Two movies, I like Romancing the Stone the best, But this is a Great purchase for the price
