I've been a fan of Larson since I saw her in 21 Jump Street and with Room she easily becomes a star. This is one of those rare feats in film making. The cinematography is great, but see this for the acting and the story. Not often has a movie made me cry, laugh, and shout out (aloud mind you) during the films run time. I don't want to spoil much of the story as it becomes obvious early on, what is actually going on. The magnificence of this film is in how the director was able to tackle the difficult subject matter in a way that doesn't leave you feeling like you saw an average thriller/horror movie, but really out it in perspective of the child, which I believe had a humanistic approach. It was amazing. Best movie of 2015, by a long shot and they're were great movies this year. (Im looking at you exmachina) Not only I, but I feel absolutely everyone who left the theater left a better person for what they witnessed. Not often do I come out of the theater with people being more polite than they were upon entering. THAT is the power this movie has, I emerged myself in the experience and I'm glad I did, because "No one is strong alone", certainly not I, and I have a more profound idea of appreciation of my own life and existence til death. I will continue on my quest but I know that I will never forget this landmark film, what it taught me, and how it humbled everyone in the theater.

I saw this film for the first time with friends using a streaming account and the three of us could barely contain ourselves with the dramatic tension of the first 45 minutes of the film. After that first viewing, I have already watched the film two more times and have enjoyed it each time for different reasons. The acting is superb and the message is important and beautifully delivered.

Room is not only one of the best movies of the year, it's one of the few films that actually plays just as well on the small screen as the big screen. A haunting movie that will stay with you for a long time. And go back and listen to the director commentary, which is very revealing too.

This movie is very deep. It definitely hit at home for me as I've dealt with personal issues. To see the characters Ma and her son survive and thrive as they do is very inspiring. If you plan on seeing this film, be sure to read the book as well!

A teen girl who has been adducted and suffered long term abuse must cope with life as a single mother, the product of the unwanted relationship. This is the story of her courage to gain freedom and the strange world her son encounters upon release.

One of the best films to come out in 2015 with breath taking performances from the two leads...Brie Larson is a force to be reckoned with. This definitely brought me to tears in the theater on multiple occasions.

This is one of the absolute best films of 2015 and it may not be one to watch over and over again because the subject matter is definitely hard to take at times, but it's a great film worth adding to your collection.

Right off the bat, "Room" has some incredible performances from Brie Larson and Jacob Tremblay (who should have been Oscar nominated). The story is intense and heartbreaking from start to finish.

Room was the story of girl and her son held captive in a room, and how they adapt and try to make the best of a horrible situation! Brie Larson won OSCAR for Best Actor performance.,

The movie was very good. Jack was excellent in this film. It really makes you think of how many missing people could be in this situation. We had a lot of discussion when the movie was over.

Room is a movie my wife wanted to get so we used a reward certificate to get it one evening. We watched it that same night and to my surprise I really liked it.

Great movie with phenomenal cast. Very well done. This movie deserved the Oscar nomination. Purchased at Best Buy for great price.

This movie was really well made but the thing that impressed me the most was the amazing talent of two unknown actors. It felt real because of them.

It's a very touching movie about a mother and her son living in a very smal room. Mid way thru she tells how she got in the room.

Real eye opener story of a mothers love and what she's willing to do to protect her child, as well as the aftermath of a horrific situation

This movie was amazing!! Such a great story, and hard to watch at times, but it's easily one of the best films of last year!

Sad movie to think someone would be that sick to kidnap a young women & keep her & his child locked in a shed for that long.

Movies like this make me cry my eyes out, great message, its hard to believe any of this happens in the world.

This is got to be the best movie of the year. It is an amazing event and definitely would recommend this.
