One of my favorite hitchcock movies. An amazing psychological tension builder. I love how voyeuristic it is, it feels like you are somewhere you shouldnt be. Love it

This may be one of Hitchcock’s best, yet underrated. I mean Rear Window & Psycho are two of the greatest movies, but this is close. Mainly because of the way it’s shot, lending to the illusion it was shot all in one take & constant. The story probably wouldn’t work in today’s world, but it is one of my favorite movies of all time. Jimmy Stewart is the man.

I have not watched this one yet, as I loaned it to my sister to watch first. Should be good, it is Alfred Hitchcock

This film is shot too look like one long take, ambitious but boring to watch for me personally, it doesn't have the energy or unpredictability of say Birdman, so it becomes tiresome to watch unless it completely engrossed you.

Hitchcock's first color film was based of the Stage play of the same name. He tried his best to emulate the feeling of watching a play by filming in one "seamless" shot. The suspense is masterfully created in such a confined space. One of his greatest artistic risks in cinema.
