I've enjoyed playing Rory McIlroy golf and the graphics are a major step up over the previous gen TW games but it is not without flaws. The most noticeable flaws are the lack of courses at launch, including some of the classics like Augusta National, and the shallow career mode. Overall it is a rather basic offering but hopefully it will improve over time with the release of additional courses and with patches to enhance the career mode.

Just got the game yesterday and am both impressed and disappointed. The game features some really great and impressive graphics and natural, realistic gameplay. It's very quick when going from one game mode to the next and almost no loading time whatsoever after the game has started up. Really my biggest complaint with the game is the amount of Pro players to choose from when playing either online or just an exhibition round. There's only about 8 Pro golfers and 4 fantasy players available to choose from which is very disappointing considering Tiger Woods PGA Tour 14 featured at least 20 different popular pro golfers. Along with the limited characters, so far I've noticed you have a VERY limited selection of courses to choose from. The Masters edition of Tiger Woods PGA Tour was a dream come true which included nearly every pro course you could want and this game fails to feature even half of those courses. Maybe EA is planning on releasing updates that include more golfers and courses, I'm not holding my breath though. Overall, it's a golf game, a VERY good looking and VERY realistic one. Just wish there were more golfers and courses to choose from.

I picked this up when it came out because I was a huge fan of the Tiger series and I wanted to see how things would go on the new PS4 platform. I will say it is fun and I like it a lot. It is challenging! But where are the golfers? And where are the courses? The game is very limited here in these areas, and furthermore there are a lot of fantasy type courses instead of the real courses and that's a little frustrating. Hoping for some DLC (of course another way to make money for EA), but want more options to play.

I was a little hesitate in purchasing this game because the majority of the reviews I saw just said the game was terrible. After buying the game and playing if for some time now; it is a way fun game. I really enjoy the game as the graphics look amazing and the swinging is really fluid. Online of course will need some updates, but still works great. I like how you can do all 18 holes or just do a few holes in career mode. Yes, there are not a lot of courses or players but that is fine as there will be free content in the future. The fantasy courses are way fun and challenging and the night golf challenges are pretty fun as well. It just depends on what you like. The main thing that is a disappointment is the character customization is very plain and not nearly as good as the older tiger woods games, but all well I can deal with that. In overall this game is great and if you love golf or just a chill relaxing sports game then you will like this.

The actual gameplay is fun and is like playing a tiger woods game. The lack of courses, golfers and a bare bones career mode really diminish the replay value of this game though. Fun if your playing with some friends but single player gets old fast.

maybe I need to play around the cameras. but i hate how the camera are on an angle. Certain shots can be difficult cause its hard to tell where the ball is going. I worked MyPro up and aim and where the shot is going is way off and like 30 yards behind it. again not sure why that happens. They should have just kept the old putt read. some putts the read is one way and the putt goes the other. I know myself and a lot of people on ps4 had a issue with the game off the bat. the full game wasn't fully loaded. you could only play a round or the prologue. after beating both several times i thought the play a round needed a certain score. it was a very frustrating feeling. after deleting the game and just letting the game sit at the menu for probably 10 minutes it finally loaded. but its something to play and i enjoy golf so I'm sticking with it. I wish they would put a mini golf game. idk why you would name it "Night Club" its not really that fun nor the right name. its like cod's zombies. something i won't touch so hopefully i don't get bored with the game cause then it will just go on the shelf. Still getting my feet wet with game so hopefully it will get better since I had a rough start to it.

    It's NOT in the game

Disappointment is an emotion that you should prepare to become well acquainted with when you play this game for the first time. EA is famous for it's "It's in the game!" slogan, but this time around it is most definitely NOT in the game. I should have learned my lesson after watching them completely gut game modes and options out of Madden 15 and NHL 15, but nope, here I am again with a copy of a game that feels unfinished and hollow. From the lack of playable golfers to the pretty meager course selection EA Sports Rory McIlroy PGA Tour seems like a game were no corner went uncut. As someone who loves to see a representation of my ugly mug in a game, the character creation tools were the last straw for me. Hopefully you look like one of the 11 preset faces that they give you, otherwise you're out of luck. EA's new slogan should be "It's in the game....unless it's beards...those aren't in the game". The sad part is, the actually golfing gameplay is pretty solid, but I just can't look past how poorly thrown together the whole package is. I can't recommend buying this game unless they update it significantly through patches, and even then I'm not sure EA deserves to be rewarded for this type of game design.

I purchased every PGA game that EA has put out and they have taken 10 giant steps back with this edition. The graphics are nice but useless, do we really need bugs and rabbits? Give me good game play instead, more courses. You can not even view the schedule in the career mode. Also way too easy for experienced players. This seems like a first edition game not one that is 20 years old and took 2 yrs to make, very disappointed.
