Excellent Software

I'm not disappointed at all. Easy to install, easy to use, and games to make it fun. The best part is that you can talk to native speakers to help your grammar and pronunciation.

iPad Users beware!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I would love to give this more stars, but you can't use it on your iPad unless you download the App. OK, that should work, right? The App is actually really easy to use.... BUT, here is the snag - You only get the App for 3 months free. After 3 months, they charge you money! So, the price of the product becomes much higher than what you initially pay. And if you buy 2 languages, you are really ripped off, because you still only have 3 months (1.5 months for each language). iPad users also can't access the internet version because it is not compatible with iPad's. Their website does not list this issue. I called Rosetta Stone before I purchased and asked about using it on my iPad; they never told me there are issues. They also never mentioned the surcharges using the App. The Rosetta Stone Customer Service people are not helpful. They give you generic "parrot" answers. I will never buy again. I can't recommend it since I can't finish it and I'm not paying more money.

I would say that after every lesson I have picked up about 20 new words, and can't speak the language whatsoever. If your looking to learn Spanish whether you know a little or none, in my opinion this is not a language learning program, the only place that claims rosetta stone is successful is Rosetta Stone. This is my review after I am 95% complete with passing scores. Using the program is infuriating and extremely confusing, I spent $500 on this and I would have spent around $500 more if I subscribed to online services. The program did not work for me nor can I find evidence it has worked for anyone else. There is also no actual information in this program, just pictures and words that don't always make sense. They also use a bit of slang so if this did teach you spanish you would sound very disrespectful to a fluent speaker.
