Using this amp, I quickly realized the immense importance of build quality. With my Bowers & Wilkins 606 Series speakers, my previous cheap Wiim amplifier produced an annoying crackling noise at certain frequencies. This unit eliminated the issue completely. No crackle, no white noise—just clean sound. Highly recommended for any user with high-end speakers.

Every time I would listen with this setup the bass would get better. Then the treble and the mids. Even now the bass gets stronger tighter and more tuneful. Using a 2023 Node for Spotify premium. Using a coaxial out to the Rotel to use the Texas instruments dac inside the A12. Very very transparent and musical. The textures of the drum kits alone is worth it. This set up in a 12 x 22 room is all you need. ACDCs Thunderstruck is phenomenal. The Evos are 4 0hm so we are getting the most wattage out of the A12. Bell Bottom Blues by Gretchen Wilson is also Phenomenal. The bass this kit gives is getting stronger by the day. The mids are great the highs have that extended top end missing but that could be the combination with the Wharfedales. The A12 can be a little dry at times but it usually depends on the recording. Give the A12 your favorite type of speaker and I dont think you will be disappointed. I would consider using a 4ohm though to get all that wattage. The instrument separation and detail with textures is great. Yes those 5.5 inch drivers and 6 inch on the Rel will astonish you.
I would recommend this to a friend

Exceptional build quality...sound is superior to my Marantz Q40...controls are very simple to operate... I will be switching to all Rotel equipment in the near future!!!
