Who doesn't watch this movie at Christmas time? I can't go through the month of December without watching this movie at least once or twice.

This is my all time favorite Xmas special of all time, period.

This was one of my favorite Christmas movies of all time. The music is great along with the story. It is a classic for any generation!

The quality of the transfer is poor, lots of scratches in whatever copy of the movie they originally used as a source. Like watching a movie that's been playing in a second run theater for way too many weeks (well, for those that recall actual non digital film). They spread it out to fit in widescreen format - which means they had to cut portions of the image from the top and bottom of the screen. The original was made for television and the 4:3 aspect ratio. Verified this by DVRing it when CBS played it this season, and they displayed it incorrect 4:3 ratio, plus their print was obviously very well restored. (Note - the box may have said widescreen - in which case i should have known better myself, if so that's partially my fault). The subtitles (in grainy text) turn on and off automatically. Going to see if I can return it.
