Beautiful movie in the Christmas season and one of my very favorites of all time in that regard. Looks and sounds good on the Blu-ray format. Very nice edition with slipcover. Highly recommended for all ages.

When I was small I loved Rudolph, and now that I'm big I still love it. Love, friendship, courage, inclusion, misunderstanding--all these themes are explored. Lots of fun songs, and a great cast of characters. Narrated by soft-spoken, benevolent Burl Ives, you feel like he's your guardian and mentor. It doesn't get any better than this.

Had to buy for the kiddos. Was a little wary that the stop animation might not hold the attention of my technologically spoiled little viewers of seamless modern day CGI masterpieces from the likes of Pixar and DreamWorks, but they were mesmerized from start to finish, proving that this title is indeed a timeless classic.

You have to love when they come out with anniversary editions. Each time, they get the picture more clearer, and the sound much better then ever. That is what you get when you purchase this item. If you like the tale of Rudolph, as I did when I was a child, look at it today with it's wonderful picture and beautiful sound.

It's hard to believe this classic has existed for over 50 years. I've enjoyed it many times on tv but have missed it several years too because of its air time. Now, I don't have to worry about catching it on TV. This special is a must own and an animation classic for years to come. Well worth the investment and purchase.

I know it has some silly stuff but this movie has a lot of nostalgia for me. I have been watching it since I was a little girl. It was so fun to get a brand new copy (my last one was on VHS). It brought just a little more joy into Christmas for me.

This is a great edition of the original holiday classic, plus a few nice additional features added to this version. I am old enough to have seen the inaugural presentation, and still enjoy watching it with my older children who are now adults. It is one of the traditions that many families share.

There's nothing else you can say about Rudolph at Christmas time. The one thing I wish the DVD had was a copy of the version that played when I was a kid. I would love to see Fame and Fortune instead of the Misfit song when Hermie and Rudolph first meet. The special is still an all time great though.

This has a lot of nice features. The kids loved the animators showing how to draw Rudolph and three other characters. They had a niffty 50 facts about Rudolph that were pretty interesting. The DVD itself is good, too. The movie has good clarity, good color and, of course, a great, timeless story.

Loved this as a kid, and it's funny to explain to my 5 and 7 year old girls. They want to know "what kind of animation is this?" and when you try to explain, you can see the "WTH are yout talking about, DAD?" thoughts churning behind their eyes.

I watch Rudolph every year. It's a family tradition. The blu ray was a great price and and its a big step up in picture quality from the dvd. The Last few years I've been trying to catch it on tv because it looks better in HD. I'm glad I can finally put it on any time I want now.

What’s not to love about this movie! The best Rudolph movie ever! It brings back so many childhood memories that young children nowadays will never understand.

I feel I need to have Christmas movies in my own dvd library, I want to watch when it's convenient for me without having to fast forward or deal with digitizing with crappy cable companies.

This movie is a classic story adapted by a classic animation studio. Some people are negative about some aspects. Sure it's a little creepy in places and may scare kids that are too young. Don't let this deter you.

We watch this on Television every year and I still wanted it added to my DVD collection to watch when summer is here.. I love all the Christmas Cartoons. You Can't go wrong with Rudolph The Red Nosed Reindeer..

I was thrilled to purchase a copy of this movie! It took me back to my childhood and the price was quite reasonable. It was perfect time of year and watching it brought me back to fond childhood memories. Thanks Best Buy!

Now in bluray.. can't beat it. As a kid, I loved this movie..now as a parent I can show my kids how great and simple movies used to be from an were that was not so focused on the politically correct. Loved watching and will continue watching.

Part of my tradition to kick off the holiday is watching my favorite childhood movies and this one is at the top of the list! A good, wholesome version of the Rudolph story told with catchy, familiar songs that everyone can enjoy.

I enjoyed this cartoon as a kid and am very pleased to be able to share it with my kids now. It's refreshing to watch a cartoon that has a positive message instead of the modern, agenda-driven cartoons.

Such fond memories in watching this classic inspired me to purchase the movie from Best Buy. The music, the acting, and just the shire overall nostalgia are many of the best reasons for enjoying this classic delight during the holidays!
