Good movie for a night with my husband. A lot of action

Great action movie to watch with your friends on the weekend.

Saw this at the movies and enjoyed it so much I had to buy the DVD. Liam Neeson stars with a great cast of supporting Actors, Ed Harris, Joel Kinnaman (Robocop, The Killing) and Common (He'll on Wheels). Story line is about a Gangster(Harris) and his friend and hitman (Neeson) whose son's cross paths and one sons life ends for the other to survive. The gangster and his hitman go at it and tear up the town to get to eachother and to kill the surviving son to make things "equal" if you will.

Liam Neeson plays a former mob hitman (Jimmy) who is now just a drunken bum. Odd sort of character for Neeson! His former boss, also best friend, is the head mobster (Ed Harris as Shawn McGuire) and takes care of him, until Jimmy's estranged son kills Shawn's son in self defense. Now the two are friends no more and Jimmy has to keep his son alive until he can get him to someone who can help. Interesting to see who he chooses. Good action, moral dilemmas, courageous parenting skills!

Usually movies that take place in one night are typically quite straight forward and "action pack", but here Liam Neeson plays a great dynamic character that will do whatever it takes to save his son. This movie is also character driving so the best part of the movie is this incredible cast: Ed Harris,Bruce McGill, Vincent D’Onofrio, Lois Smith, Common, and Nick Nolte...If you Love Liam Neeson like I do then this is the perfect movie for you! I highly recommend this movie!

This movie proves once again that even in his 60s, Liam Neeson can still deliver great action thrillers. This time he plays an alcoholic retired hitman whose former boss and friend, (played by a terrific Ed Harris), blames him and his son for the death of his son. A thrilling vengeance tale that also features Common in a memorable performance as a deadly professional killer.

A solid crime flick – constant action, chase scenes and car chases, lots of hide & seek – never a dull moment and its’ s acting is believable – thus there’s substantial entertainment value. There’s elements of redemption as-well-as protecting the family, you get a great tour of New York City by night and the soundtrack is hi-octane. Great view!

Liam Neeson does it again. A non-stop action, and night time chase through the streets of New York. The movie revolves around two childhood friends Liam Neeson, and Ed Harris. Without giving away to much of the story Liam kills his best friends son. So Ed decides to Kill Liam's son, and Liam. A lot of people die who are caught in the middle. Buy this film you will not be disappointed. Great night time photography.

I went to Best Buy to buy Run All Night and I also bought 3 CD'S and am Happy with my Purchase...... I'm upset that you did not have Ghost Rider and Ghost Prodecall as my Grandson has lost my Movies and now I have to buy them on line...... I'm really Happy with Best Buy for the most part when you have New Movies You have a Good Amount and I can get them during the week they are on sale.............

I bought this movie because of the cast. We didn't get to watch this movie at the theatre so decided to buy it and it was a great buy. Vincent D'Onofrio is awesome, Ed Harris is great, Liam Neesom is good. The action is exciting, the characters are great... this movie was a pleasant surprise.

Liam Neeson versus Ed Harris all night long. Adrenalin pumping, masterful acting by two of today's best actors. Family honor is at stake and no one slows down until the final bullet is fired. Great viewing on Blu-Ray HD, and guaranteed you'll be "watching all night" once you start.

This was a great movie. I love Liam Neeson in just about anything but his role was awesome in this movie. There were so many lessons to be learned from watching this from the perspective of family values, family loyalty, the lengths people go to protect their children, I could keep going but I'll let you watch it for yourself.

This movie is excellent and action-packed!! For those into action/thriller movies, this will appeal to you. Definitely worth the purchase on Blu-Ray!! In addition to the Blu-Ray, you get a DVD and Digital HD copy!! Worth the money!! Be sure to check out other Liam Neeson classics like "The Grey", "Taken", and many others!

Liam Neeson plays the part of a hit man in this violent based thriller. After watching this movie, I decided to give one as a gift to my brother-in-law who is a devoted Liam Neeson fan. Both he and my sister found the movie to be very entertaining.

While aging movie stars making action movies is nothing new, perhaps no one has been more visible than 62 year old Liam Neeson ("Taken" trilogy, "A Walk Among the Tombstones," "Non-Stop," "Unknown" and others). Here Neeson reunites with director Jaume Collet-Serra ("Non-Stop" and "Unknown) in what may be his best yet.

Most people got hooked on Liam's movies through his role in Batman or the Taken series 1-2-3. While there is a predictable "character" he also seems to play, even my wife who never saw the film with me stayed with it through the whole thing and said it was suspenseful

Deep emotional feeling has involved in between father and son in under dark group of gangster world, and no matter what happens fathers responsibility and love towards to son was greater than anything in fathers life. I felt sadness and happiness at the same time.

It has the features I was missing from the previous headphone. Best Buy employees should have informed me that there are headphones compatible with either iPhone or Android; this would have save me a lot of time researching why my previous headphone wasn't working properly!

Classic theme of a bad guy, hit man Liam Neeson trying to do some good. With many references to real life organized crime in New York such as the Westies, Neeson goes on a path of redemption and uses his lethal skills to save his son. Very much like Neeson's Taken series.

I thoroughly enjoyed this movie, and I am a lover of action movies galore. I love Liam Neeson and this movie is just like a lot of his recent movies with him shooting a lot of people. However, this is a great movie with good action sequences and a good plot.
