I run a lot in Golden Gate Park in the evenings after work and I was looking for a wearable that would keep me safe, especially with the evenings getting shorter. Love that this product has a loud siren on it, I tested it the other day while I was out running and 2 people approached me asking if I was ok!! I did not want something that was too heavy, but this is super small and light so it's perfect for me! The best part is it notifies 3 contacts when the alarm is pressed! Keeps my mom happy when I go running!

We purchased this for our 22 year old daughter as she is always on the go, graduated from college early and is a night owl. She agreed to wear one. It seemed especially relevant after the Molly Tibbett's heartbreaking story in Iowa. It gives us a tremendous sense of comfort and we hope in all reality we never receive an alert.

So happy I found the perfect companion to my runs! I run a lot on my own and always have my earphones in so I have worried about my safety but now I feel a lot safer with my run angel at hand! The app that comes with it is also so easy to use, I can even remotely set off my alarm using my phone! Will be with me on EVERY run from now on!

I love my Run Angle for my early morning runs. It really is loud! The strap is neat and it is so comfortable on my wrist. Finally a product built for runners by runners!

This device does exactly as advertised and is surprisingly comfortable. It has made me feel much safer, particularly if I go running at odd hours. The ability to send my location to emergency contacts at the press of a button is invaluable and is a key feature that made run angel stand out from other devices.

Went for a run this morning with my run angel and loved it. It barely felt like I had anything on my wrist. Tested out the sound right before my run just to see how loud it was... it was unbelievably loud. I always run with my phone so this feels like an extra layer of safety in the event (God forbid) anything does happen to me. Giving this product 2 thumbs up as it is easy to set up and use.

My mom got this for me as a present when I went back to college just recently, and I must say I bring it with me everywhere! Walking between classes and walking home late in the evenings, I always make sure I'm wearing it and gives me peace of mind knowing I have it. I even brought it with me on a night out and the guardian feature definitely keeps my mom happy when I am out & about! I would recommend this all college students!

My wife recently bought me a RunAngel for my birthday, and I have been quite pleased to-date. Thankfully I haven't needed to use the alarm live, but in testing it I can certainly see it would be a major deterrent to anyone harassing me on a long run! I was also impressed by the accuracy of the coordinates provided to my "guardian" (my wife) in the test emergency text; the RunAngel pinpointed my location! Further, as an almost daily user of a Fitbit I was surprised at just how much more comfortable the RunAngel band is vs. a normal wristwatch or sportswatch. Were it not for my wanting to test it out mid-run I would have never noticed it was there. The fact that the alarm can be removed from the band and carried on one's person on the way to the office/etc. is an added bonus, and I could see it adding a sense of comfort after leaving the office at 2AM some nights. All-in-all I have been impressed by my RunAngel and would definitely recommend it for runners, cyclists, or even office workers alike.

The device worked well for about a year and would have gotten a 5 star review. After a year the device didn't hold a charge. I contacted customer service and they responded quickly. They sent me a new run angel. However, a year later, the 2nd device did not hold a charge. I contacted customer service and they said this issue is "rare". They said I could purchase a new device. I give a 2-star rating because of the lack of durability for both devices.

Exactly what I was looking for - bought this for my girlfriend who tends to run v early in the morning (typically 6am or 7am) - I never felt comfortable given NYC can be somewhat sketchy that early! The combo of the piercing alarm (it is really loud) / text alerts gives me enough comfort to sleep all the way through till I have to go to work!!!
