I had seen this several times in the past and couldn't pass this up when I saw it in the $4.99 bin. The story is still relevant now even though the movie was made in 2003. Gene Hackman is fantastic as is Dustin Hoffman. The picture quality is what you would expect from a movie from 2003. Solid, but would love to see it remastered. The audio is good as well.

Gene Hackman chews the scenery brilliantly and Dustin Hoffman’s southern accent is a classic in this take on a John Grisham novel. John Cusack and Rachel Weicz add their own special sauce to the mixture to create the perfect gumbo of tension and drama. Enjoy the suspense.

This movie has a great ensemble cast with powerhouses like Hackman and Hoffman (who roomed together when they were young). It also has some great twists and turns to keep you guessing until the end!

This was a great drama film all the actors story drama will entice you definitely not for kids but for those of us who remember these drama filled action movies from the 80s

Great name actors...Very underated film....big John Cusack fan and critic....One you need to see...Suspenseful

I found this at bestbuy for a good sale price. The movie is actually very good. I would recommend it.

I enjoyed watching the Runaway Jury [Blu-ray] [2003].

It had been a few years since I caught this movie in theaters but being a John Cusack, Rachel Weisz, Gene Hackman and Dustin Hoffman fan I can honestly say they bring their A game into this story. I read the novel way way back and enjoyed the story. The movie adaptation is well done though "The Firm" this is not. We'll worth watching!

This is a blue-ray update to an older movie that I liked quite a bit. I was also on a John Cusack kick which this movie included.

Gene Hackman and Dustin Hoffman face off in this suspenseful trial thriller which is chalked full of danger and twists. Loosely based on the book by John Grisham. Blu-ray 2.40:1 aspect ratio

I think Gene Hackman is one of the greatest actors ever. He plays every character with conviction and becomes that character. Check him out as Little Bill in Unforgiven. So-so performances by Cusak and Weisz and that Hoffman guy also appears in the movie... The plot is a contrived but this is a group of professional actors and they give it the old college-try. Reasonably good movie, but Hoffman is underused and once you figure out character motivations it gets a little slow. Still, a great group of actors.

I love this movie, and I am glad it came back in stock. As soon as it did, I bought it.

Good film, entertaining, it’s a little old but if your a Grisham fan you’ll like it

This is, in my opinion, one of Grisham's better movie adaptations. It is well staged and acted.
