I cannot begin to tell you how excellent this documentary is! If you are a die hard fan you will love it! 4 hours of Petty from childhood through The Last DJ, you're guaranteed to learn something. My only criticism would be that this edition comes in a thin cardboard case; would prefer something more sturdy.

A month or so ago my brother was talking to one of our co-workers about this documentary about Tom Petty he was watching on television.I was ashamed to say that being a fan of his I had never seen let alone heard of it. Peter Bogdonavich directing a documentary on Tom Petty? Yup, I just had to order it sight unseen! 4 hours later and grinning ear to ear and proclaiming "Not long enough!" Covering Mudcrutch to The Traveling Wilburys and all points in-between this documentary should be watched by all music lovers!

I enjoyed this DVD of Tom Petty that tells of his start at childhood being interested in music, getting together a early band and performing then, up to the present group he now has. There's also footage of show performances. It's such a loss that he is not with us today, but his music still lives on.

This is an amazing documentary on Tom Petty. I first saw it when it was on Netflix and was devistated when they took it off. I’ve watched it at least twenty times. Really shows all he did for the rock community. This is a must see for any Tom Petty fan.

This film about Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers has been out for a few years, but not always on blu ray. If you're a fan, it's a no-brainer purchase. Be aware that it's a cardboard case, which I'm not a fan of at all.

...and a must for any Peter Bogdanovich fan. 4 hour documentary flies by in an instant. I watched the entire thing over 2 nights, and i only wish that it had been longer.
