One of the best live action anime adaptations I have ever seen. I highly recommend this trilogy to anyone who is a can of the anime or just a fan of Asian cinema in general.

While I feel the first half of the Kenshin live action movies are better than the latter, this was still great and a fitting end to the set.

This is a must see anime rare gem movie that is a complete masterpiece it has it all and it's series gotta see em all...

I'm a long time fan of Rurouni Kenshin, with the anime, ova, manga and Kyoto arc already in my collection. Needless to say, I was skeptical of the live action films since anime and manga don't always translate well to this medium. But I decided to give it a go and I'm glad I did! The action was wonderful with nice cinematography and great audio/video presentation. I felt they really captured the essence of the characters, with the actors doing a really great job of bringing them to life. Costumes and environments were wonderful as well. Highly recommended for long time fans and newcomers alike!

After a bit of a slow down in part 2, Rurouni Kenshin: The Legend Ends comes back strong with an exciting climax and some great fight scenes! It's difficult to pack an entire series into 3 movies, but the cast and crew have truly done an exceptional job of bringing these characters to life. After reading the positive reviews, I had pretty high hopes for this and I'm happy to say, I was not disappointed. Whether you're a fan or a newcomer to Kenshin, this movie comes highly recommended!

That difficult third entry in a series? RUROUNI KENSHIN: THE LEGEND ENDS makes it look easy. Almost too easy. Unlike so many franchises that have stretched themselves beyond all credibility, this third installment is the excellent conclusion to the second part. The first film stood alone, offering lots of set-up with solid storytelling. Part two left us on an EMPIRE STRIKES BACK level of cliffhanger, and now it’s time to finish things for good.

A fitting conclusion to the Rurouni Kenshin live action adaptation. It does a good job of adapting the second half of the Kyoto arc from the manga and anime. The cast give good performances and the fights are well choreographed. Definitely recommend this to any Rurouni Kenshin fans!

A direct follow up to the previous movie. This closes out the Kyoto story arc. It takes things in quite a different direction from the manga/anime, but I think the concessions are interesting as a what if to that story. As usual acting and choreography are excellent.

An historical film about the Restoration in Japan at the turn of the century. Loosely based on the revolt of the Samurai over the loss of rule to the Restoration of the Emperor lineage. Spectacular and lengthy martial arts scenes set to soul--stirring music.

I started reading the Jap Anime for kenshin over 20 yrs ago, couldn't believe it when it came out as an actual movie in triology. They do a pretty good job following the anime with some new addition to the story and action scenes were pretty cool

I had a few minor complaints about the interpretation of the movie from the anime, but everyone has their opinion. It's a solid live action of Kenshin, with a great choice of lead cast. Aoshi was my favorite in the show, but I didn't care too much for how they built him into the movie. Action scenes were fantastic, and the story was overall brought into the big screen well..

I picked up part one of the Kenshin movies by accident and liked it so much I had to buy parts two and three. I was not disappointed! Would recommend to anyone who likes samurai movies, anime, manga, etc.

This is my kind of action movie. Brilliant sword fights and a very good story. Thank goodness that Hollywood never touched this material, because this could have ended up being like Dragonball Evolution.

Anyone who is a fan of the anime Rurouni Kenshin and the movies/shorts titles Samurai X will enjoy these movies. its pretty much both of the shows combined into a live action film that kicks butt!!

I have the 3 movies and the worst one is this one because everything ends. Is just like the anime and is great, like I said before the bad thing about this one is that is the last one.

I enjoyed this movie so much. It is the perfect end to the live action trilogy. Very good story and even better fights. This is one of the best live action movies I have seen in a long time.

Love this adaptation, can't recommend enough if you are a fan of the anime, but I wouldn't watch part 3 without watching part 2. Really wish that Best Buy had part 1 for sale with these.
