This is a great addition to your Apple network... and I stress Apple! The AirGo comes equipped with an Airport module pre-installed and functions well as an AirPlay speaker. Even though it is relatively small, it is not as portable as many other speakers on the market. It is heavy and requires a grounded outlet because it lacks a battery. But this does equate to great sound in a tight weather resistant package. Additionally, because of the Airport, it also doubles as a WiFi extender. This, however, can be another negative. A WiFi network needs to be a available to operate. Other vendors include a Bluetooth dongle to swap with and would be handy if you plan on taking this outside of your network. Utilizing the included instructions, is easy to change and install if you acquire one separately.

Very powerful excellent midrange wireless speaker is well worth the money despite the tricky setup and poor Instructions. I called Russound technicsl support but ended up doing a Google search and found Better instructions and a diagram that illustrated basic setup. Just remember to download the Airport Utility app on your iPhone or iPad, then click on the AirGo Base Station, select your wireless network and then select "Join a wireless Network" that the AirGo Base Station should use. ( This will be the same wireless wifi network you connect your iPhone or iPad to.) In my case my wireless network is an Apple Airport Express wireless router but it should work with any network wireless router. Hope this helps.

I was surprised by the size, I guess I didn't pay attention to that. I love that it included an airport express so I set it up as a range expander on my network. The sound quality is phenomenal, sounds like I am throwing a concert in my back yard. I bought a second one for my granddaughter and she connects her iPhone to it all the time. She said it's the best gift I ever got her.

Sounds good; perfect if it was smaller, a little too bulky.

Comes with an airport express which makes it worth the deal of the day price.
