RV shows what it is like to try to be a successful businessman and to simultaneously be a good family man. Robin plays Bob, a man who truly loves his family but also wants to advance at his job. He knows his family will benefit from going on vacation together in an RV but yet he sneakily works on his business presentation while on vacation. While on vacation, Bob and his family encounter another family in an RV, the Gornickes. The movie shows the lifestyles of two very different families and how they react to each other. The movie has laughs plus it is realistic about what it is like to be a man in today's corporate culture. Robin does a great job of a man just trying to do the right thing for his family by providing for them through his job. RV should appeal to almost any family.

Great movie family loved it and we laughed so much great family movie

In the mode of NATIONAL LAMPOON'S FAMILY VACATION is not a negative thing. This is an energetic and often quite funny family film. The theater we saw it in was nearly full with a cross section of seniors to kids. People laughed together and often. The movie is fast paced with great outdoor cinematography. The plot has some twists and surprises and a real treat is Jeff Daniels and Kristen Chenoweth as parents of a permanent RV living (Christian?) family that are not treated as buffoons or easy targets for satire. And that's the other thing that I liked about this light-hearted comedy; i.e., it has a moral center. Without being preachy in any way, the right things happen as all the loose ends are tied up in an unexpected (to me, anyway) and satisfying ending. It was nice to see the late Robin Wiliams in a family film. Jaded newspaper and TV reviewers weren't all that enthusiastic about this film, but audiences sure are. It was the top box office new movie the week it opened.

This is a very good movie!! I thought it was very funny.

I just wrecked the rear corner of our RV pulling away from a Diesel pump. This movie will stay in the RV. I will watch when I need a good laugh and lighten up! We will miss Robin Williams greatly The entertainment industry and we his fans have suffered a great loss. Our thoughts are with his family. We hope grief due his death will be lessened because of the joy he brought to us all. Thank you Robin God Bless and keep you.

It could've been better, but it was an ok watch. It could be funnier.

I love this movie, and in particular Robin Williams. Very very funny movie, definitely a keeper!!! I have watched it a couple of times, a movie that is not getting old the more you watch it.

RV was hilarious. Great for entire family. The late Robin William’s at his best. Or typical self. One of my favorite Robin William movies.

A dysfunctional family rent an RV for a road trip to the Colorado Rockies, not the Hawaii trip they had planned, where they as a family come to see they still have a bond and have a great family vacation while dealing with all sorts of funny circumstances.

This film, was okay, but the film wasn't that dazzaling in Hi-def, like some movies, but was a huge improvement over the DVD. However the film, being one of the first Blu-ray Disc movies released , was that good in quality, and the MPEG-2 decoding didn't help either. The movie was funny, and was worth watching a few times. but, as said above the ending wasn't that good, it didn't make sense. It was dissappointing, despite the high retail price ( in NZ, of around $42), it lacked any special features. It's not a suprise, as the disk capacity is only 25GB - although it should be noted some HD DVD's have a lot of special features such as King Kong (based on reviews), with only 30GB, of storage - hope the VC-1 and MPEG-4 AVC, codecs are better.

I learned a friend bought a rather expensive motorhome and as sort of a gag gift, I gave him this DVD when invited over to see his new toy. We all know the movie is hilarious - one of the many where Robin Williams was excellent.

If you want a non-stop funny movie to watch, then this is it. Robin Williams was at his best when he made this movie. We were glad that Best Buy had the movie available even though the movie was made quite a few years ago.

A great family friendly and hilarious movie with an awesome actor that has sadly left us far to soon!

One of Robin Williams best comedies to date. A real family treat. Everything top notch. A must see comedy. I don't usually like comedies that much, but this is spectacular.

Whenever I need a good, tear jerking laugh, this is one if my "go to" movies! LOVE Robin Williams as the Dad, his comedic genius and journey of hilarity! Great story, cast and locations!

There are som parts of the movie that were trying too hard and some parts that were an expression of the transition of the era, overall Robin was at his best in either situation. Rip GEINIE

Outstanding movie for the whole family. One of Robin Willams best.

This is our second purchase of the movie. The first copy was so badly scratched. We love the movie even more since the passing of the great Robin Williams.

While "RV" might not be a Robin Williams classic, the film is definitely good family fun. It was one of the last films of his to be a hit, and did deliver some good laughs.

Great movie for dinner and a movie night with friends!
