I love kitchen Aid it inspires me to cook more from scratch and think outside the box with different cuisines for the night so the second i discovered there was a slicer attachment for the artisan mixer that i love and try to use every day, never have had one problem with that or any other product that i have by them. But i only used the attachment once today the day i received it (everything looked as i expected) It did not perform nearly as i expected i was trying to make ratatouille and i tried both thin and thicker slicers and it totally tore the veggies up. I have followed the instructions, gave up tried it on a higher speed still nothing on any veggie. The mixing bowl was full of mush.

Great with certain vegetables but not for all. Easy to clean and use.

Works as advertised.—and faster than busting out the food processor is you already have the sand mixer out. Just make sure to follow the instructions on how to clean it after use.

I thought it was worth trying since we like the mixer, even though we have a food processor. While it worked fine, not much different than a food processor. It does however give you another option if you have both. Time will tell, but not sure how sturdy or durable.

what can i say it does what i need it to do. I got it for a great price, i love BB.

The kitchen aid slicer/ shredder was efficient and did the work i intended it to do.

We had the mixer for about a year . This is the first attachment we have purchased. Great buy .

Great product, had one before but couldn't find it

It was a gift for a friend that has RA. She is limited on what she can do with her hands so I thought this would be a great gift. She loves it!!!

I love my shredder. It is so easy to use, saves me a lot of time.

Not the easiest to attach. Graded carrots and it tended to collect Bêtw the grader and the housing of the grader. Not sure I did it correctly. Will have to try again

Works great. I wish it came in a different color besides white . But other than that the price wasn't bad . It was easy to install . It did the job .

We use the shredder often. Wish the feed was a little larger, but it is terrific. Love the power and ease.

KitchenAid becomes even more useful as you add the very convenient to use accessories made exclusively for it.

There are several items that do something similar, but none that does all that this attachment does.

Only reason I have I say it looks good is because it does, and I haven't used it yet. It's easy to install though.

It's a good product, not much useable for all purposes. Light duty only
