This series is packed with some awesome fight scenes. The animation style is a little older, but it doesn't detract from the series. This is pretty much about two dudes, one working for the government and one a figurehead for rebellion against the government, locked in a lifelong battle against each other. And these two guys are so ridiculously powerful that nobody else kind of matters. The characters are reasonably developed, enough so that you develop favorites. I'll admit, dialogue at times gets repetitive: "KAAZUUUMAAAAAAAA!!" "RYYUUUHOOOOOOOOOOOOO" way too many times. But overall, the series has a good pace, great action scenes and many memorable characters. Great for a first time entry into anime, or for the seasoned veteran.

This series has got it all. Humor, action, and robots. The storyline is great. Most of all I love the ending. The best fight ever, I buy it just to watch the end again and again.

I loved this show when it was on cartoon network's adult swim. I bought the set just to watch it over and over again. Really great show and you can't get a better price than this set.

meh, I've seen better. this show has to much of everything to be considered great in any one way. the animation isn't the best and a lot of the characters can get annoying pretty quick and are also mostly one dimensional. If someone had this I would consider borrowing it or renting it first. It's not everyones cup of tea but can still be entertaining.

I love this series. It has alot of action. That's the main part I love is the action.
