The case actually opens up into a tri-fold! It only took me about 4 months to figure that out, and I thought I had broken it. But it comes in useful to watch movies and videos while the phone sits sideways. About the only complaint would be that it needs something a little better to hold the phone in a tri-open state because it slips a lot. But otherwise it's great.

This year's case feel heavier which at first was a negative for me, but thye weight combined with the stronger edges has become a welcome plus. The phone is held sturdily in place (it's actually a bit hard to get out!), and calls can be accepted or declined through the cover. The one potential drawback is that it's hard to see the edge lighting with this case on.
