This is, to me, the best type of cellphone case/protector out there. Not only does it protect the screen from damage, it's design lets you use the phone right through the display window. While it is different than the leather S-View case i had for my Galaxy S5, due to the changes in the phone itself, it still serves the same purpose very well. And this model also has the ability to open up and serve as a stand for the phone. All in all, a quality item that has a great function. I couldn't be happier.

This is a great case and now it has a stand I could use when watching a video. It's convenient that the always on clock shows on the cover when closed, but the features on the cover screen is limited. Only the Phone and Camera apps are able to be used from the screen. They are able to be changed to another app from the accessory setting, but it the screen cover tells you to open the cover to view the app. I was hoping the cover screen would allow the flashlight would be used like my old Galaxy Note3 flip cover without having to open the cover to access the flashlight. Overall it's still a great case and hope Samsung will add more features to the case on the next software update.

Like most "genuine" Samsung products fits perfect, well thought out, adds surprisingly little bulk, but offers a pretty good degree of protection if dropped. It also has the S-View features automatically when in the case. One feature i was NOT expecting was it allows the case to be used as a stand as well which was a real plus. Great addition, great protection, a WISE INVESTMENT for this high end phone.

I purchased this sleeve for my Note 7 and returned it a few days ago. I had an original Samsung charging flip case with my previous Note 3 and liked it a lot. The new case shares most of the old case's benefits, but unfortunately a few of its disadvantages. Pros: - I really like the fact that the case integrates perfectly with the phone's features (visibility of notifications/ability to take calls through the window, etc.). - It looks good because it was specifically designed for the Note 7, so it's nice and thin and does not detract from the appearance of the phone. - Compared with my Note 3 case, I also appreciate that the plastic lip on the bottom provides some protection for the phone's perimeters. Although my Note 3 got scuffed up after I dropped it onto a parking lot and the case opened, exposing the bottom (chromed plastic) edge of the phone, the little lip on this case has the ability to protect the Note 7 from similar impacts. Cons: - Unlike the old fake leather case, the thinness of this one would not seem to provide the same degree of protection from direct flat surface drops. Fortunately, these phones seem sturdy enough to deal with such impacts, so the cases primarily provide cosmetic protection. - However, the deal breaker for me (and the reason I returned it) was that there's no way to keep the case fully closed. This might have "broken in," but even when I held the phone in my hand, the flap tended not to lay flat. As a result, I could easily imagine dropping the phone, having the case pop open and having an unprotected curved screen hit the floor. Needless to say, despite many positive attributes of this case, Samsung's failure to include an effective way to keep it closed securely was troubling. I hated to return it as I liked several of the features I described, but this design shortcoming limited my confidence that it would protect my phone effectively.

Anytime I get a new Samsung Flagship phone (yearly) It's a must to grab Samsungs official cases, too quality aestheticply and functionality, this case as they always do, feels premium and fits the phone like a glove, and Samsungs brand of cases are really the only cases that enchance the look of an already beautiful device. I Highly recommend!

I like how the case looks but when trying to use it one handed I can't flip the cover open easily like I could with the note 4 cover. It won't stay closed after having it open for a while. Also if dirt gets between sview cover and your screen it will likely put micro scratches on your phone. I had a couple show up only in the sview cover area of my note7.

I really like the function of this case protection for the front and the back. It converts into a viewing stand (landscape only). I prefer not to use screen protectors because I like the response and feeling of the glass naked, so this case checks all the boxes for me.

I had this same case for my Samsung Note 4 and I was pretty happy with it so naturally I bought one for my new Note7. When I first got it I was a little disappointed. The material that it's made of isn't nearly as nice as the older version. It feels cheap and plasticy, it makes the phone even thicker and bulkier than my old Note 4 and I can't even access the flashlight from the S View window. I might try the Clearview Case instead.

I thought it was a neat case, but it felt odd typing on the phone with the case folded back. Ultimately, it simply wasn't for me because I am accustomed to a case for the back and sides. Really, the only other negative is that it isn't hard plastic, so it doesn't offer that much protection from drops It is neat that you can work the phone through the case.

I had the Samsung flip cover for the Note 3 and I thought this was going to be similar. It's actually made out of a plastic material and the hinge on the side is really stiff, so when you first start to use it, the cover flops open. Eventually you will get some creases into the hinge, but even after about a month it still flops back open... Good coverage over all though.

This is a great case, it protects the phone and has a window from which you can see messages, make calls, and send and receive texts. It also folds out to set the phone on the table in the horizontal position.

This case is like other S-View cases from Samsung but it differs in two ways. One is that it transforms into a stand! Nice but the 2nd is that it is a cheap material, not sturdy at all. When compared to the S-View case for the Note 4 it is pretty cheap.

it basically same look but material is not so cheap like the last note. i still dont like the screen cuz it gets smudged alot

I originally picked up the otterbox for my Note 7, but I turned it back in because it kept pinching the ends of my screen protector an it just didn't feel as good in the hand. But this case feels great in your hand. It does pinch the corners like the otterbox did so my zagg screen protector held up a lot better. Lastly, the kickstand feature is great without having to have additional moving parts like some kickstand cases. Great case and great fit............can't go wrong.

The case is everything a case could be. protects the screen, and the phone. It's simply a good case

Great product for the Note 7. Fit sung and provided protection

Love the S view window and being able to use the phone and camera without opening the cover. Had this cover for my GS5 and I'm thrilled Samsung produced this cover for the Note 7. It has a good feel to it, not slippery or thick. I get lots of compliments on it.

I'm not giving 5 start only because it does not stay fully close with the phone inside. The top lid has a gab so you have to hold it down for couple of seconds to fully close.

I bought this for my Note 7 when it came out. Samsung has made these for a number of their devices, and each time they never let me down. They don't provide the greatest protection, but are very helpful with keeping the screen protected when in pocket as there were no good screen protectors out there.

I love this cover for my Note 7 because it is thin & simple. However I think it would have been better if the case had a magnetic clip to close the case.
