I am sure this show as great back in the day to entertain the masses but from what I've seen it doesn't hold a candle to the new S.W.A.T. series on tv today. But every thing has to start somewhere so adding it to my collection was a must.

I remember coming in from playing outside to watch SWAT. Kids don't know what they are missing. Being outside and having great shows to watch at night, enough for you to go inside and watch. The good old days.

In many ways better than the recent series. Less Drama and Weirdness (Hondo in Mexico, Half the team in Thailand), more actual Police show

Great TV serious from the past. Even though the new one is good, CBS has compromised the story lines to bow down to the PC culture. Always watch oldies TV because is is classic.

Great to have the original series. The old shows are better than the new ones. Always try to find the old shows after a remake. They are always the best.

I use to watch this show as a kid. When the new swat series came out, I decided to purchase the old series to show my son. Unfortunately, he thinks it's lame compared to new series.

I was pleasantly surprised when I saw this in the store. This is one of my elderly father's favorite TV series from the past. I gave it to him as a gift and he loves it.

I loved this show as a kid. Was really excited to find it on DVD. Only disappoint was it didn't have the original spin-off episode from The Rookies. Wish I could find it!

A great series that I loved as a child and still love it to this day. I wish the video quality was HD rather than SD but this show is quite old so I'll take the standard definition. The quality of the discs are great and I haven't had any playback issues.

In my opinion it's as good as the reboot and almost as good as the movie.
