Except for THE TERMINATOR series (and some terrible comedic efforts) Arnold has pretty much been the standard true blue unstoppable hero. COMMANDO was his template where he took on huge gangs of bad guys, killing hundreds and winning convincingly in the end. SABOTAGE however presents a darker more human Arnold. Directed by David Ayer ( who just might turn out to be the "American" John Woo) this is another of his movies that goes from gritty realism to outrageous violence in the blink of an eye. I don't want to spoil the movie by discussing the plot but this is a real move up for Arnold. A lot of people don't like this movie for that reason alone. Not for the kids and if you think the ending is un- Arnold like, check out the two alternate endings. Yeouch ! Btw, when I mentioned Arnolds "terrible comedic efforts" I did not mean STAY HUNGRY. That was quite good.

A definite change of pace for Arnold. His meatiest role since returning to acting. Not what you would expect from Arnold. Supporting cast members are believable in their roles. From the same director that gave us End of Watch. A gritty realism is demonstrated throughout the film regarding a DEA team operating in this dark world of drugs. This is probably Arnold's most emotional role to date in his entire film career. As the leader of this DEA team Arnold is always having to deal with some type of turmoil. This is a character driven action movie. Arnold is a man who has lost his family, which was tortured to death by a drug cartel and is haunted and driven by his past. Not for the faint of heart.

For me this is exactly what I wished expendables would have been. You have an elite team with different personalities and specialties and they all rock. The film is something of a suspense as you try to unravel the mystery of the plot and the end reveal of it all is thought provoking. Arnold delivers his best performance (granted it's not saying much but his character is phenomenal in this film) and kudos to the director/producer/writer as the development of the story and the final act are fantastic and true to the characters. The only drawback is that the movie isn't pure action and the story tends to drag a little bit, but when and where it shines it excels!

It is a fun , dirty & gritty action movie with Arnold. The idea and plot of the movie is kinda unique and it plays out in a fun, entertaining way but feels like its missing something. Good action and fighting but there is really no likable characters in the movie. You find yourself not really caring about any of these awful people/characters. They really are all just despicable people and it is hard to watch without any one to cheer for. It has Arnold and it is a good action movie but not a good movie, if you get my drift. It is different in the case that you really have no one to latch on to and you kinda hope they all go down. ;) HAHA

Excellent cast, great plot. Just when you think you have it figured out, story takes a twist.

Violent, crude and action packed. Sabotage is strictly for those of us action junkies that can enjoy a film without the need for a complex story and academy award winning acting. Sabotage is very violent and gory, full of foul language drug use and s** appeal. It's just a straight up macho action flick that doesn't try to be better than all the rest out there. It just is what it is. Arnold is great in this film and the characters although you want to hate them, you end up loving them. Sabotage is fast paced, entertaining and fun.

This isn't a spectacular film, and it might be easy to label it as a secondary Scharzenegger film that shows him well past his peak, but it can be worth a look for an Arnold fan as well as those who liked Training Day or caper type films. Don't expect the best film ever, but I don't regret my time with it, either. The violence and language are pretty harsh, though, so if you are sensitive to those, bewarre.

Growing up in d 1980's, Arnold S. was one of my 2 biggest Action star idols, the other being Sylvester Stallone. It is good to see him back, even though not as young as before, still doing some action movies. I enjoyed the action scenes, the story is nothing new, but it did have a twist in the ending, I did not see it coming. Any movie he makes nowadays is a treat, especially for viewers like me, a teen in d 80's.

Overall, In my opnion it was Arnold Schwarzenneger's best film to date. I'm a huge of his,and I really enjoyed seeing this film in the theatre's when it was released. So much so, that I mentioned to my friends that I was going to purchase the DVD when it gets released, and it finally did. the whole overall backdrop of the film was well presented and the acting was great as well. I would watch it over and over again. a true classic! from the moment the film began till the very end, this film really kept me intrigued and kept wanting to see what happens from one scene to the next. Overall, it had a lot of action, which I enjoy and also a lot of drama as well, which I also enjoy. And some humor added in it as well, with all those one liners. This is one film I will never forget and I'm glad that I've seen it and own now.

Watching this movie, I didn't know what was going to happen. Then, greed comes in to play and it makes sense. However, watching a terrorist specialist watching a head being cut off and some other grisly scenes that can be left out for sure, this did not sit well with me. And usually, I can handle most situations. Watch it once, it's Schwarzenegger.

what can i say about sabotage it is a good action movie with with alot bullets and blood and i think it is one of the better arnold movies in the last couple of year all i can say it is a good action movies from start to finish and i hope arnold makes more movies like this in the future so check it out if you want an none stop adrenaline rush movie

I like Arnolds movies. It was a good story but I thought the end could have been a little better. On the plus side the story was a good plot about DEA agents & the fact that someone within there own department ends up betraying them. I would still recommend if you like action movies & especially Arnold that you should see this one & buy it.

I LOVE SEEING ARNOLD BACK IN THE MOVIE-ROUTINE AGAIN. THIS WAR/ACTION REVENGE AND JUST PLAIN GET THEM OUT OF THE EQUATION SO I CAN MOVE FORWARD WITH MY LIFE KIND OF FLICK. WITH THE HELP FROM THE GURU/THAT DID TRAINING-DAY AND END OF DAY'S MAKES THIS MOVIE-HAPPEN. A MUST HAVE FOR YOUR TRUE ARNOLD-FAN'S!!!

I always enjoy a good action movie, and with that being said, Sam Worthington was miscast, his wife was miscast, the FBI woman was miscast and lastly, Terrence Howard is not a very good actor and was miscast majorly. I only liked the movie because of its action and misdirection.

Arnie is back is this awesom thriller! This film focuses more on mystery then just wall to wall action that's more typical in an Arnold movie, which is refreshing! It's a who done it so if you like Action, Arnold and a good story then this is the movie for you!

This movie has a very good plot. It reveals how far the nature of who we are as humans overwhelms any feelings or emotions of loyalty and sustained humanity. Very Gritty movie that will keep connected to the characters until the final credits are viewed.

A pleasure for anyone who likes action movies and Arnold surrounded by a group of good actors, this movie was more about him and less about the other actors, I think anyone who is an action movie fan, and an Arnold fan would enjoy this....so give it a shot.

I always loved action movies. Especially with my favorite actor's like Arnold plus the others this movie features. I figured this movie was already good so I went ahead and bought it. After watching it, I was very excited with it. Very good movie

Big action hero in a shoot-em-up movie. Enjoyed it but mostly predictable. But with that being said, I liked it. Sometimes I just Like a movie full of action, shooting and explosions without having to follow a confusing or complex plot line.

I went to watch this movie thinking it would be just a classic Arnold movie. Not only was it a action movie but there was plot twists and it kept you thinking about what was gonna happen next. One of the better Arnold movies in a long time.
