Loved this movie. I would buy it. Great actors and actresses. It’s not a chick flick either. My husband liked it too. We watched it on our plane ride for vacation.

One of my wife's picks. So I was thinking "uh oh here we go, another Nicholas Sparks romantic drama." While much of it is pretty predictable, the opening did engage my attention and left me wondering how the loose pieces would tie together. So my time spent watching this movie was enjoyable enough and my wife enjoyed it even more. We probably will not watch this particular movie again. Knowing the few twists would make watching it again less engaging since we know whet is coming. So, good, not excellent. I noticed that Roger Ebert wrote a rather harsh review of this movie, based mostly on the very end of the movie. Or, in my view, basing a decision to criticize stuff that is common to so many movies because of the way this movie ends. The ending may not please everyone, but I went with it. In fact, I can think of another rather different and popular movie that ended in a similar fashion where I thought "hey that was pretty cool."

Clearly a tear jerker for all the romantics at heart
